The interview is months old, but it's been doing the rounds again for some reason. Not sure why, it's not really a slow period in the gaming world.

The GTA Franchise consists of 15 games (11 Stand-alone games and 4 Major Expansion Games),so 45 years of ideas will bring the total games to 30.Plus since the HD Era began the main games are taking 4-5 years (excluding TLAD,TBoGT and Chinatown Wars)...So i think Rockstar's part of this 45 years is to do another 2-3 games in the HD Era then discontinuity,then their either Reboot the Series from the start and begin with new games (and not re-imagining LC,SA or VC ever again),plus they will consider fans ideas and request etc...Tbh i am SO excited for the future of this Legendary and Iconic franchise (esp. when GTA is entering it 4th Consoles Generation from PS1/PS2/Xbox/PS3/Xbox360 and soon PS4/Xbox One).

 

I read the article twice before,Great for starting a thread on it.

 

Side Note:I was reading an old article on IGN this week which was way back to 2004 before SA was released and it listed some fake future (or maybe not) GTA trademarked games but here is a particular one: http://m.ie.ign.com/articles/2004/01/06/new-evidence-of-gta-sin-city

Exactly...but GTA wouldnt (never) be annualised like CoD or AC...but in 4 years time we will get the first "Next-Gen" GTA,Plus i am saying it again great thread OP
