Block incoming job requests?

I just logged into an invite only session, and there is a constant stream of job requests clogging up the left hand side of the screen. I've never had this before, in the past I might get one request every ten minutes maybe. These are streaming in at about 1 every second. Looked in the option but didn't see any way to block the incoming requests. Did I miss something?
