In the end of the day, its the gamers own fault.

 

If people don't want to pay for that sort of rubbish, then they don't have to. No one is forcing them. But the truth is that most people want to pay for extra stuff. Just look at CoD.

 

It's the gamers that have control of where the franchise is going, not Rockstar games. Because if the gamers doesn't get what they want they wont pay up, and if they don't it means end of Rockstar business

Why did Rockstar bring out these Shark cards? Because they know people will buy it. Now tell me, who's fault is it?

 

The only reason paid DLC's and micro transactions are around is because people buy it. If nobody liked the idea and decided not to buy it then the businesses would NOT continue with it and try something else to make money. They'd look at and/or test the market to see what the CONSUMERS want to consume. Simple as that really.

 

And if you don't like Rockstar's business practice then these idiots can feel free to not use them and not purchase another Rockstar title in the future. Rockstar doesn't owe you sh*t. You buy a product and you get it (the game, in game currency...everything else thus far has been free). If you use their products/services then you MUST play by their rules. If they say you can't do something then you can't do it. They have every right to ban you from a server, censor your comments on THEIR website or whatever else they want while you use their product.

 

These people are entitled. They want something now and for FREE and when it doesn't happen then they get angry/pissed off.

Whats the difference between me shelling out $20 on GTAO and $20 on MW2? MW2 has useless maps, most of which are recycled, yet that is a "better deal" than me buying: a good flat, fast cars, and awesome apparel. I find more value in that than some map that took about an hour tops to port.

Ever wonder why the new cards they come out with are always larger? Because the biggest seller they have is the largest card available. So, they will keep increasing the size and cost of the cards until the largest one is no longer the best seller thus the top of the market is found. If people didnt want them they would not exist.
