Buzzard: Lock on Mode?

Is there any way to lock on a certain player? I really find it hard to kill people in cars when I am trying to blow them up with my buzzards, rockets. I have practiced the cannons and I am good with that but not so good with the missles except when they auto lock on a enemy in a mission.

Thing is, if you get even one star you're screwed since the flaming autoaim decides you want to shoot the feds rather than the juicy 9k bounty that's sat dead centre of your HUD..

 

Seriously needs a selective targeting system or switch to turn it off..

It takes practice, and sometimes a call to lester to lose the cops. Every now and then, you can time it so when the player is approaching a cop car, you blow him up at the same time as the cop car.

Because no matter how good you are, the Buzzard's auto aim will still f*ck you over. Unless you play free aim maybe, don't know. I usually just lose the cops after each kill so that I don't have to deal with the frustration of the Buzzard locking onto stuff I don't want to shoot.
