Absolutely no word about this on the forum. What gives?

 

My XBOX is downloading a patch as I type this ...and it's taking ages.

 

EDIT: FALSE ALARM.

 

My bad guys. I had my portable HDD disconnected. The one that has all the GTA V content installed on it. Since it was missing the game must have thought I needed to download something that was installed on there. Sorry to waste everyone's time. Haha

I'm not sure. It came up when I went to launch GTA V. My Xbox was on for about 20mins just on the dashboard and then I went to join a friend on GTA V and it said there was a patch to download, if I chose not to download it, I may not be able to play or something like that.

I got out of bed, accidentally woke my dog and her 10 new puppies up, and it was all for nothing.

haha. blame your GTA addiction. what were you going to do, play GTA V in the middle of the night because a new patch came out?

 

it's funny that now I've become that guy. the same guy i usually am skeptical of.

 

for anyone who cares, this is not a prank. i have no idea what this patch is. i have given you guys all the facts - i was forced to download it when i launched GTA V. your guess is as good as mine until it finishes downloading.

Yes I was going to get up and go play. One of homeschooling's many perks is not having a set schedule.

 

Also, it's probably just an issue on your end. When you noticed a lack of posts regarding a new patch, you should have waited until you got into online.

 

My puppies are crying now.

Just used my lunch break to go home(yea I know, sad), fire up my ps3 and check if there's a new update since you're from AUS and thought we might get it first! :whuh:

Right, so, is this true? I'm still awake from yesterday and I've got no puppies littering the floor. Currently on GTA.
