what are the things that players do in races that pisses you off?

i know this is a pointless or stupid thread (there i said it before someone else does).

 

but back to the question, what do other racers do that always pisses you off?

for me it's when they try to pit me, but it's gotten to where i can usually get out of a pit attempt and watch them take them selves out or i pass them and get a bit of a lead.

have a perfect race with another guy right beside me, we dont hit each other or bump into each other all the way through the race. then the last checkpoint comes up and he pits me. I still get 2nd place but still...

They claim they won't hit anyone but lag forces them to. Or the wobbles once they get speed.They try to race clean but still little bumps make cars spin so often...

I get nervous when I'm on the highway (IRL) and somebody's sitting just next to one of my rear quater panels. I think I've played GTA Too much

I sometimes see a car I like IRL and have to consciously stop myself from dragging the driver out and stealing it.

Drive backwards on lap races

Getting slammed off the road (via a successful pit or otherwise) just as you're getting to a checkpoint so not only do you have to get back on track but have to double-back for the checkpoint and hope you don't get annihilated by another racer. I lost nearly a minute thanks to one asshat doing that to me on Long Haul 2 yesterday.

This. I can deal with being pitted and purposely rammed but driving backwards becuase they cant win drives me insane. If you are terrible at racing dont race. Dont drive backwards and hit the ones that can.

Typical pitting and intentionally run you off the road. There's only a few racers out there that go head to head battle, which sucks because I enjoy racing in gtao.

Drive dirty, Can't use brakes, Leave catch up and slipstream on, Do long races like Long Haul 2.

People who have that motorcycle tapping skill down pat where they can nudge you into a crash while staying perfectly straight as an arrow.

 

I don't know sh*t about driving a motorcycle but something tells me it wouldn't work out so well IRL.

Everything. First off, I don't own a supercar which is the requirement for all the f*cking races in this game. So I'm stuck in a stock car while everyone has a custom one which is sad because in all races I do, no matter which one, I always nab 3rd place or 7th, always those two numbers...IN A STOCK CAR. Makes me laugh when they lose. Anyway, I hate catch-up, I hate slipstreaming, I hate when people come up and try to pit me when they're ALREADY OVERTAKING ME YOU DAMN PICKLE. I found the best trick is to countersteer a little, the car will barely move and they'll spin out unless they have an AWD car like Adders will take me out. I'm at the point where I give a little nice HONK to upcoming people to pass them or when they pass me. If they hear the horn, they usually go straight ahead, as if I'm saying, "I won't pit you, I know you'll pass me." I hate how f*cking stupid people are. It's really annoying. Oh, I'm going to pass him in my superior car, let me spin him out for the lulz. No, f*ck you, f*ck you deep and hard you f*ck I don't want your goddamn sh*t go f*cking do that sh*t somewhere where I'm not you f*ckface f*ck you, I hate you.

But other than that, the racing is fine.

I come from the Forza background so that's why I may be a bit hard on the racing in GTA (although the racing in GTA IV was tons of fun and the best in any open-world game). I just don't understand how f*cking stupid people can be. R* should introduce mic-only lobbies or something along the lines so people will have some sort of respect and deceny towards other players.
