GTA Online and the future

According to Rockstar, plans are to continue updating GTA online with fresh new content in the future. My question to you guys is, what would you like to see?

 

I mean specifics. Come up with ideas for the future of GTA Online! How would you like them to update this game world? Should we continue down the path as is? Or would you like them to start charging for the DLC packs and make the shark cards dissapear (or get cheaper)?

 

First off, I love the idea that they are releasing holiday specials (as I call them). Christmas day it snows, The V-Day Massacre (THAT went well with the girlfriend), New Years etc etc......

 

My question: What happens when we get to Halloween?

 

Remember when Treyarch released zombies on Halloween? Or better yet since I hate COD anymore, what about Undead Nightmare? Could you guys imagined if for 1 day, everyone online (NPC's) was a zombie? Only safe haven is rooftops, your fast car, and the good ol' safehouse. Imagine how awesome it would be to have all the NPC's go nuts after all the real players for the day. The tank would be fun as hell....

 

What about New Years? Imagine at the Playboy mansion ONLY, there was a massive party on that day. Off the coast, fireworks and maybe some american paint jobs added to the mix.

 

My point is, that I love the game world that Rockstar created in GTA V and would love to see this map being updated CONSTANTLY in the future. I like the path that GTA IV took with the DLC packs, but why not add to the already beautiful GTA V world? There is soooo much they can do to this game, so APART FROM THE HEISTS (I know someone's gonna say it for sh*ts n giggles) what do you guys want to see?

 

*A zombie mode like RDR would be REALLY nice for Halloween. Or a mod or gametype similar to it...

*More garage space (or ability to buy another garage which I hear is coming soon)

*Different types of Tanks would be really nice too, or a new, different military jet, or how about a military air battle pack?

*Heist vehicles (may come in the heist pack)- Getaway vehicles

*A street racing pack with neons and nitrous (ok maybe not neons but you get the drift) <---see what I did there?! Totally unintentional.

*Underwater exploration pack -They created an ocean, then added NOTHING to it but a fncking UFO -LOLWTF?! Maybe a spear gun?

*Adventure pack could have a grappling hook or toe cable vehicle that maybe you tether two objects or rappel down buildings or something of the sort.

 

Ok so before my ideas get any dumber (seriously, the adventure pack was just an example, I swear!) let me hear YOUR ideas (so I can make fun of you for them haha just kidding!)

 

Be creative! What packs do you want in GTA?!

I agree. I would love to see some street racing packs with what you said. Especially with the rumor of pink slip racing.

 

Black Rabbit, I hope you're right. In addition to the street racing pack, new cars would be nice too. I'm in love with The Jester for some reason. Candy Apple RED!

Yea it would be cool. All you do is flash your head lights next to a player and your racing just like in real life or rev your engine at the red light.

I would like to see the Maze Bank Arena utilized in a decent sized dlc. It would remain the same from the outside just place a trigger out front.

 

Some events could be:

 

-most definitely a deatthmatch/tdm - either setup as bball court with seats and rows or paintball setup or a course with base in middle hold the base

-destruction derby

-bifta oval dirt track race like sprint car and dirt bike/4-wheeler races

-maybe some kind of monster jam using the sandking

-fights - maybe 1v1 in a ring/cage or up to 4v4 or 8v8 in a open area setup

 

For the first three I would def pay 5 bucks

 

Also, why not have the casino with poker and gambling maybe horse races/betting. would only help sale of sharkcards.

How about a riot mode? Like San Andreas. Imagine what they could do with it now; Peds flipping cars, patrolling in packs with bats, everyone is a target. GTA Civil Unrest!

@Gta-freak-VI: Thank you! I know the zombie bit is overused, but I personally can't get enough and I can see R* adding their own feel to it. I love R*'s style so I could see a really good vibe coming from an undead pack like RDR. I loved Undead nightmare but I agree, it is overused a bit much!

 

@Thrusty: Everything you said was awesome. I could see this as an adventure pack (much better than ropes to rappel with!) and would love to see some skateboards in the game. There are bikes afterall. Hell, you could even take the idea of an ollie/nollie and use L and R like the bike brakes.

 

@Quien: I love the rev engine idea. Kind of like Burnout Paradise, pull up, rev your engine at another player, start race.

 

 

@thesqman: I like the casino idea too and thought that R* was actually going to unlock them. You would think at this point, that would have been a day 1 decision with microtransactions. Damn, if they did that, I bet people would buy in a heartbeat. The shark card sales would skyrocket!

 

I hope these all remain "free" so we can grind out another 16 coveted playlist rather than spend real money.

Screw cars, screw clothes, screw more generic jobs

 

Online is so stale right. First, I want to be able to buy another garage. I don't know why this is so difficult for R* to understand. Secondly, this game desperately needs something to spice up free roam. I really like the idea of a riot mode, or how about gang turf wars like in San Andreas. But instead of gangs, each area would be controlled by a crew. Now that would be fun.

It would be nice to see a celebrities pack too. I don't mean REAL celebrities, but maybe a pack where you could do missions for previous GTA stars like Claude, Tommy, Gay Tony or anyone else in previous games.
