The Little Things

I'm sick and tired off:

 

Getting run over by npc's.

 

Trying to steer you character on foot.

 

Not being able to jump over hedges.

 

Doing gang attacks where the enemy hide behind something, so you have to rambo them and die.

 

Enemies that spawn behind you and kill you without warning.

 

Having my car impounded 10 times a day. Seriously, this needs to be removed.

 

Empty lobbies everywhere. Millions of copies sold meaning millions of players, but I can't find one.

 

Every deathmatch lags, making it impossible to play.

 

Spawning half a mile away from the action, down a cliff, behind a razor wire fence.

 

When you spawn out of RDR, on the dirt road behind Martins, and have to waste 5 minutes getting to your car.

 

NPC's that call the cops on you for something trivial like standing next to them.

I thought this thread was gonna be about appreciating the little things/details R* put in the game. Looks like I'm mistaken....

 

 

Only "little things" I don't like is, impounding system and the freezing that's been happening a lot lately

Oh, I love the game, but it can be hella frustrating at the best of times.

You know, I was always curious what would happen to your car if you left it at the impound for too long. For some reason I always imagined "poof gone", donno why.

Yes, hedges are difficult to jump, but they aren't rock solid.

You know what else pisses me off, when the impound gate refuses to open when trying to get out.

 

And I like when this forum posts a big white blob instead of my text.

stop walking in front of their cars

 

you cant steer on foot

 

walk around you animal

 

you need to get better at this game if you're rambo styling gang attack

 

thats what the map is for

 

stop letting the cops catch you, they're easy enough to lose

 

get a better internet connection

 

get a better internet connection

 

call merryweather or your mechanic

 

start a new session, end up in your appartment, start a new job, kill yourself, jump down mountain and call mechanic

 

this has only ever happened to you and thats cause you spend too much time around NPCs lol get some real friends

stop walking in front of their cars (I don't, they drive off the road, soon as you fire a shot they go mental especially on missions)

 

you cant steer on foot (It feels like you're trying to steer your character. Climbing fire escapes is fun)

 

walk around you animal (Well I have to, I have no other choice)

 

you need to get better at this game if you're rambo styling gang attack (Try doing the gang attack 20 memebers that's in the Vespucci area, up the lane way)

 

thats what the map is for (No sh*t, only problem is, they don't always show on your mini map until they've shot you)

 

stop letting the cops catch you, they're easy enough to lose (Most of time they are yes, but I like shooting it out with 'em)

 

get a better internet connection (I have NBN, the fastest internet in Australia, I can't get any faster)

Little thing I like, driving my stinger gt back to my apartment earlier.. clipped an npc driver, flipped me onto my roof and proceeded to slide along the footpath doing the old tenpin bowl into a group of npc's... I lol'd. Im going to hell.

In theory, it makes sense, but it gets annoying very quickly.

These are the types of experiences I mean. I chased coke all over Blaine County for Gerald, made it back to his appartment, clipped a gang member on the way up the lane and was sprayed with bullets and died before I could deliver the package.

It would be impressive if the cops would physically impound your vehicle.

 

A police tow truck would spawn an alley away and then pick up your car and start driving to the impound lot fast. You can either go stop the truck to get your car back or go for it later when it arrives at the impound.
