How many of you are Day 1 Players?

I was playing the other day and noticed that nobody was higher than level like 92. Most players were 56 or so. Some straggler 120 or so. I personally have 2 characters above 150th level and sure I've seen the 190 to 220 characters, but few and far between.

 

So I'm wondering what month you guys started.

The release of the game was 17 September 2013 and Online 1 October 2013

 

So I want to make a monthly tally to see what time everyone started to get an idea of where everyone is and why? We already have a level post (http://gtaforums.com/topic/696279-survey-what-level-are-you/) so here's the rest of a good survey.

I've been playing since day one and the funny thing is I'm yet to even reach level 60 with my primary character

Stood in line for GTAV on Sept 17. Played online first day it launched. Server problems deleted first character and kept me from playing again until like Day Four. Been playing since.

October 7th for me. I tried getting online during that first week but I could never successfully connect. Also with people losing characters I decided to just wait a bit. Main character is currently in early to mid 70's.

I played from day one, but I've been doing all kinds of different things since then. Usually when I'm with friends we just have battles in free roam or do some missions, and when I'm by myself I'm working towards goals like buying cars.

Joined on Launch during all the problems, obviously had my character deleted like 4 times on that same day.

 

Finally on October 3rd I had a permanent one that wasn't erased randomly, spent months just racing in invite only lobbies or every 3 weeks or so I'd race with just my 2 other friends (including during the Criminal Records times)

Now I'm here on March 26th at rank 153

I've been playing since Day 1 but only made it to rank 35 on my primary character before I joined a DNS Server in December or so. Now I'm rank 181 with that character.

 

I have since created a second character who I have ranked up to 60 via legitimate, but questionable means.

I actually never had my character deleted. I had trouble getting through the tutorial on day one, but after that everything was fine.

I'm really kinda cheesed that my character creation date is October 2. I woke up early before work and went through that damn plane flight like 10 times on October first before It eventually dropped me beside the vine wood sign straight into the game before getting stuck on the tutorial race.

 

I couldn't believe I was actually in Los santos with 10 other people. Remarkable feeling that day. Then that guy evaporated into air when I managed to log in 36 hours later. My new character ended up a bounty hunting beast with 6 months under his belt.

Since Day 1, though I lost 6 characters that couldn't even reach the level 30 cap. That didn't stop me playing. Eventually the new patch that somewhat fixed the Cloud save issue, granted my 7th character, permanent.

 

I had the collector's edition, so it was nice getting random messages of people wanting my Hotknife.

Still playing with the 7th, reaching the level 250 cap.

Started in January, ground my way up to a respectable level & earned a nice apartment/cars. After that I was all "look at all this money" and started doing races indiscriminately.

Not day one, I waited 2 or 3 weeks for the whole character loss issue to be sorted out. Most of my time has been spent in races and in freeroam.

 

1st character is 109, my second that I made in December is seventy something.

Ive been playing since day 1, Lvl 126, mostly free roam and run around doing missions with the crew im in, never tried to get too high of a lvl, no reason really to go over 120 but still just haveing fun with friends, nothings changed other then my character saved lol

Would have been nice to have an option that represented those who take photos, make videos or spend a lot of time in the content creator...I like racing but I do find myself messing around with the Snapmatic or making race tracks a fair amount of the time when online.

 

Been here since October and I guess the only thing I don't do is death matches (doesn't interest me to be honest)...but quite happy with everything else the game offers.

Been with GTA since launch. Only have one character, lvl 225, don't need any more, I hate grinding. I love screwing around in freeroam, killing people, hunting bounties, whatever action there is + the occasional job (mission) and quite a bit of racing..

Day 1, baby! I remember people being jealous of me because they couldn't play online like I could, lmao. I remember spawning by the Vinewood sign, the game glitching as soon as I finished making my character.

Played every day since online was released (I haven't touched the single player part as offline games don't appeal to me).

 

Only level 82, must be boring as he'll grinding away the levels like a real life job. I play for fun.
