Anti-tanker gets no love....

My new found hobby in public sessions is killing tanks with my tank. Normally I'll be with my friends doing whatever and along comes a tank looking for easy kills... I haul ass to my tank.... kill him. end of story. Yet as I'm driving around players will come near me knowing I'm in a tank then they proceed shoot at me with small arms fire , grenades, etc.

 

I'm the guy killing the twankers people!!! You guys just got spawn raped by the cheating lv 989 and you want to shoot your rifle and throw grenades at me? People just don't understand when someone is trying to help...

 

Had a guy put 5 full MG clips into my tank while I just sat there.....

So many times I've been driving round the town in my tank and not firing at anyone only to end up with other players follow and ram me, which usually results in them and their PV ending up in a ball of fire, all without me firing a single shot at them.

The players are probably just paranoid, considering that a lot of tank users just go killing other players for a boost in their K/Ds.

What I don't get is when I'm rolling in my tank after killing a twanker and I'm just having a happy little drive in my tank honking at randoms enjoying the freshly cleaned streets, and someone will get thier tank and come straight for me. The only one I killed was the original twanker yet someone just has to come start some sh*t. Can't two tanks just roll side by side in peace. Especially if niether is a spawn raping twanker?

I've been shot at by levels 0-15 using an Uzi or standard pistol while driving my tank.

Morons. I corrected their mistakes by bludgeoning them to death with the tank's barrel.

how do you decide who's a bad tanker though?

do you just arrive on scene and see how he behaves

or do you just roll in and assume he's a spawn raping bastard as soon as he kills some1?

 

cuz the guy in the other tank might be doing exactly the same as you.

if you want a peaceful world I suggest being peaceful

How many times we were playing with 3 tanks peacefully. I just shot when somebody chased me and threw stickies.

 

But I don't drive around in my tank too often. Most of the time I play Invite Only Or Closed Crew Sessions.

Because I don't like to just use my tank and if I don't use it, players just attack for no reason

To be fair, the other tank will usually already have accumulated some damage when you get there, both from other players and from cops. So, if beyond that, you get the first shot, and you usually do with the element of surprise, it's logical that most of the times the second tank wins.

I always laugh at "so I spawned killed them until they left" story endings.

It always makes me think they switched sessions themselves or something but don't want to look weak, which who cares, its a video game.

Yea one time I killed a tank with my tank to be nice then I killed my own tank in front of the people I helped so one of em goes and gets their tank and spawn killed me so I don't help anymore like you said it's morons who don't read the name of the original tank

Just don't drive around in a tank. Grab a jet, I am anti-tanker as well and the jet annihilates the tanks I never call a tank though I'll steal somebody else's tank and spawn kill them when I can

Anti does not mean 'non', it means 'against'

Many extreme environmentalists are anti-human for example. But if you're looking for a closer parallel to tanks, plenty of fighter jets carry anti-air missiles.

Yep. The same happens to me. I see a tankie abusing a low level, I take mine out and give the tankie some battle... On my way to him, almost all players shoot at my tank... I just honk 3 long times as a sign of warning and move on. After blowing him up to pieces I simple hide the tank and move along, because granted, the butthurt tankie will come AS BUTTHURT AS EVER with a btand new pink tank to try to blow mine.

 

It is funny to see him trying to chase me because he thinks I'm still on my tank!

 

Its the people who is like that, its not just them being paranoid. I know because I like to grab the armored swat truck and cruise the city. Almost all the times I drive past another player (I'm going in one direction, he's going in the opposite), said player makes a 180° turn and starts following me. I can always see their little gay hand poking out of their car with a girly sticky bomb ready to place in my truck! LOL

 

For these cases I kill them, and upon their respawn I run them over with the truck, and then move on. And then send them a friendly message: "DON'T EVER MESS WITH ME AGAIN" =)

I like to use a jet or else I'll call for a Buzzard and then fly it underneath the map and follow the tank around shooting rockets at them. That really pisses them off.
