Heists and Businessess: Combined?

So over the last few months heard some speculation (not sure how genuine this is, just talk) about R* adding in businesses to buy like in SP, and obviously there's the non-stop talk of heists, so what if Rockstar added a feature which combined Heists AND the purchase of businessess?

 

Example?:

 

A feature added where we can now purchase several businesses around LS in return for a daily (f*ck weekly) income, such as Vanilla Unicorn, LSC, Bahama Mamas West etc. etc.

 

Then the long-awaited heists are added, and this actually involves stealing from other players' properties depending on who owns what in the public lobby you/your crew are in.

 

 

How it would work:

 

So you/your crew visit Vanilla Unicorn strip club to find a certain player in the lobby owns it, at the entrance you can choose to: A) enter as normal , or B) initiate a heist

 

The game guides you through the steps required to complete a successful heist, while simultaneously informing the owner via a notification: i.e. (Your business, Vanilla Unicorn, is experiencing a robbery in progress)

 

The owner can then choose to try and drive to the business and fend off the criminals.

 

If the robbery is successful, the criminals gain money obviously

And the owner will be informed, and will either lose a portion of daily income, or will be refunded: because they wisely purchased 'Business Insurance', which thankfully covers theft

That's the basics of it, to expand this further you could also have a system like in Vice City Stories, where you buy a property say at a basic purchase price, and then can choose to invest more in it and upgrade it to a 'medium' and then eventually 'high-end' business in return for a higher return each time. (and paying out more in heists because more to rob)

 

Other features?:

 

Once you own a high-end business, you can inject cash into it indefinitely, using it as a hub for your assets, gaining the appropriate return depending on how much you invest.

 

You can engage in minigames and unlock exclusive features depending on which business you buy, for LSC this would be discounts on mods, free drinks, lapdances and free access to all strippers at the strip club etc. etc.

Let's assume there were no glitches if this were implemented (the owner left the session, the heist is over)

You end up robbing your own business in a universal paradox where you lose everything and are reset to rank 1 with nothing but a pack of cigs and a half-empty bottle of pisswasser!

Buying a business to make you money on the side instead of grinding is a great idea.

 

It's kinda like a reward for saving your money and investing it wisely.

Ya something needs to change. Hit 120 during the double RP/cash weekend and there doesn't seem to be much reason to play, other than jumping in a Buzztard and sploding things. I guess I could buy a tank and be a tanktard but.......just can't bring myself to do it. Maybe I'll make a female toon and flirt with the boys.

i can tell you right now if its anything like business in SP that call you every 5 minutes when you are on the opposite side of the map and want you to come there and do something stupid that usually times out before you get there cause you were in the middle of doing something else I wont be buying them, haha!

Yeah believe me when I say this, if its just a replica of the SP system I'd rather grind Simeon missions for half-pay. That's why I think they could just use the SP system as a base (and by that I mean, change it completely) and add some actually fun features and different ways of earning money in free roam.

Businesses could work amongst many players. Instead of one person owning a business, they have a share. You invest that money into the share to reap rewards later. However, if you don't service your investments (odd jobs, deliveries, recruiting and such), they will start to cost you money. You can sell your share if you don't want to service it.

They weren't 'leaked' audio files. It was remnants of cut content that people found. People latched on that and then ran with it though, is what I'm getting at.

 

It doesn't really mean a whole lot other than they (Rockstar) entertained the idea at one time.

Stuff gets cut from games all the time. GTA V was supposed to receive a skimmer but it got cut because the waves were too choppy to land one without completely ripping it to bits.

Other than that, the hunter, hydra and police maverick also got cut. Maybe in a future expansion...

I got one thing to add. People would probably just sit in tanks on the map and blow up anyone who comes by their businesses or businesses they're trying to rob

Don't think it would work because of this. It wouldn't work the same way you think apartments work.
