Not much has changed on my Nexus 5 since my last post. Changed back to the stock Nexus 5 kitkat wallpaper, upgraded to 4G, ditched Facebook, and Google changed their logo. Current look:

My previous submission (ignore the terrible quality):

Well this is what my phone looks like now, but there's a slight problem

I think one of the major flaws with the LG G2 has finally happened to mine in the last week or so. See the dark lines at the bottom edges of the screen? Well apparently it's caused by the glue they used under the screen. When the phone heats up, so does the glue and it burns the screen causing those yellow lines. It's more visible on a white background:

At the moment it's not really that noticeable unless you look from a certain angle, but it will get worse and darker.

It's such a damn shame because it's such an excellent phone, but apparently the same thing also happens to the G3, Nexus 5 I think, and certain Sony Xperia handsets.

At least it's almost time to upgrade again, but it still sucks. Only real issue I've had with the G2 since I got it.

Good luck to you when/if you drop that thing.. once that screen separates, its basically over, unless you get it repaired at a really great shop. Even when mine was fixed, it overheated way more, the screen wasn't flush anymore (it would literally pop up). You could pretty much see the back light. I miss my G2 but I don't miss the problems that occurred with it!

BlackBerry Z30. I've had it since April of this year, and it's given me my fair share tech woes, from failed security wipes to its storage space being filled with who knows what. But despite this, it's actually a good phone. Yes, it can run Android apps, but it's really flaky sometimes, and you can't count on an app working one day and then work again after an update.

Random Person A:
"But Lameonade!! Why would you keep a phone that has serious OS issues, almost no app store, and is the child of a company that's most likely going to go ka-put soon?"

Well, I must admit that I may be a hipster in disguise. :catloaf:

I like that the OS is trying to be focused around gestures and swipes. After getting used to the gestures, every time I use a different phone, I find myself swiping up from the bottom to unlock it, only to realize it doesn't work.

As for the "serious OS issues," this isn't my first time dealing with these sort of things. My previous phone was a(n) HTC 8X, a Windows Phone. Before WP8.1, the "Other" section of the storage breakdown would consume 80% of my entire drive, and it was impossible to delete it. That was my first hard reset of a phone. Fortunately it never happened again. So when literally the same thing happened to me but with this BlackBerry, I thought that it was some sort of joke. How can two totally different phones have the exact same issue? At this point, I'm not really supporting my claim of it being a good phone, but these problems were fixed with a software update to both. Forgivable, for now.

So that's my wall of text.

tl;dr I like this phone. It is a BlackBerry Z30.

Glad to see someone still using a Nokia for a change. Not that I got jaded with Android/iOS/WP and all, but I'm saddened to see Symbian go by the wayside, hence my nostalgic feelings about it.

Galaxy S2, running stock 4.1.2 currently.

There seems to be a freeze bug in CyanogenMod 12.1 (for the S2). It has been fixed but the fixed kernel hasn't been merged with the nighties. I'll flash CM 12.1 once they do that.
