Revoltion
So I've played the whole story through once, and as i was expecting it was great. I loved every minute of it, but like a lot of people I rushed it because I just wanted to get through all the content as quickly as I could. After that I started another playthrough, but only got part way as I became hooked on online. (It's kind of got boring and I'm waiting for heists to come out) Now I'm starting a completely new save in single player. What I want to know is what should I do differently this time? I really want to take in the whole game. I don't want to rush anything. I'm one of those people who likes cruising around Los Santos and just enjoying the scenery. I also like to a bit of RP. I tend to stop at trafic lights and play the game relatively realistically. But that's a different point. So any ideas? Any places you'd recommed going? Any missions that you really enjoyed that aren't so well known? warlord GTAV
œaœa
The Bureau Raid, playing as a firefighter was f*cking awesome. But in fact I'm surprised Rockstar didn't get in trouble for this mission, as it's very reminiscent of 9/11 (Driving a firetruck only to see a burning building in the distance) mastershake616

I will pwn you newbs
Try to stay in chatacter for all the characters the whole time. Do everything the opposite (if you did a heist the smart way do the obvious way) kill people you let live and vice versa
Johan
Well there's a reason they added multiple approaches to many of the heists OP, not to mention you can start a mission differently depending on which character you're using. I.E When you start that mission where Michael catches Amanda with the Tennis coach in their room, you can either use Michael and walk up to your house to view the entire cutscene, or if you use Franklin you'll see the Tennis coach jumping out of the window just as you walk up to the mansion

mastershake616
Change to free-aim and make sure the reticle is weapon-specific. Suddenly, you're playing a new game. Trust me on this one. Oh, and lower your brightness, too. Overmenneske
Mr. BROver
Oh, and lower your brightness, too. This.It makes the game feel much more real at night, and gives a use for the headlights.
Guest
Change to free-aim and make sure the reticle is weapon-specific. Suddenly, you're playing a new game. Trust me on this one. Oh, and lower your brightness, too. Definitely free-aim if for some strange reason you haven't already. Totally pointless, but this is a good way to change the character's haircuts throughout the story: - After the first mission, change Franklin's haircut to the one with the two short stripes, I forgot what it's called but it was used in Franklin's trailer. - Leave all haircuts as they are until the Jewlery Heist - Just before starting the mission that switches you to Trevor, give Michael a beard. When you return to Michael, it will "appear" that Michael grew a beard while you were playing as Trevor. - Leave haircuts as they are until kidnapping Patricia. You can go for a Max Payne style and shave Michael's head so he doesn't get recognised by Madrazo's men. And apparently, hair grows back over time so you can leave Michael's hair to grow for the rest of the game
PineboxFiller
The Bureau Raid, playing as a firefighter was f*cking awesome. But in fact I'm surprised Rockstar didn't get in trouble for this mission, as it's very reminiscent of 9/11 (Driving a firetruck only to see a burning building in the distance) If people aren't offended enough by the fact that it was done by their own government then I don't think a burning building that's really only similar because it's tall is going to do it. OT- I would take advantage of, and not move ahead too fast through the part of the game where they're exiled from LS. It's a cool part that has a lot of switch scenes and other things you can only see during that time, and finding different ways to screw around with Martin's guys is really fun and obviously also unique to that time in the story.
