unlocks after level 120

Im level 172 ive unlocked everything so rp is pointless now since there is nothing to work for. So guys and girls do you think they will add unlocks after level 120, and why was level 120 the last level

I dont know if they will add further unlocks, so cant really give you a answer about that.

 

As for the last level being 120, I think R* used that as the last unlock level as even though it took some time to reach level 120 it wasn't to long that you got pissed off by the fact that it took so long to unlock everything.

I would imagine they will be adding additional unlocks seeing max level is 1000....or 8000 depending on what you read. Far too many levels to stop 12% of the way through with no plans for the future.

I would assume with future content level would have purpose but who knows. It is kind of upsetting, there is a huge gap from level 81 to 120 with no new missions. It could of been spread out better. Also, I can't really understand how hard it is for them to throw in some new missions at least every update. The mission creator seems to be pretty cut and paste from the looks of it

I have a feeling Rockstar is going to release a PC and next gen version of GTA V so they can continue into the future with the game. Obviously, they see the cash cow that online is (with all these bullsh*t shark cards and the economy they created in game) and I think with the turn of the generation, they want to add onto GTA Online after they port it to next gen. To tell you the truth, as much as I play GTA Online, I wouldn't mind if they decided to keep releasing packs each year that adds to the map. The map is huge and at this point would be overkill to create another game. The 120 "level cap" is further evidence of what I am thinking......like you said, it wouldn't make sense to complete only 12% of the possible level up system and just like the "empty" gun rack in Ammunation, I bet that emptiness will be filled someday.

to be honest, i feel i had everything i wanted the moment i unlocked the heavy sniper at level 90...

 

unlocking the rpg at 100 and the minigun at level 120 were just an added bonus.

Was thinking at level 140s you unlocked better ammo and better sights at least eg, anti tank ammo for 50cal sniper and heat scopes or night vision goggles,

Not much of a point if you can still loltank anyone between 70 and 199 ( those underneath 70 always loltanked no matter what, its just how it is).
