Can't connect to game provider PS3

When I select multiplayer in the PS3 version of GTA4 I get the message 'Cannot connect to game provider. Please try again later'. I have not yet played online in the game and have been trying to do so for three days now but keep getting the same message.

 

I have an open NAT, dedicated IP, DMZ, etc..

 

Is this a server issue or an issue with my PS3? I have no problems on any other games.

I am getting the same message with tbogt tlad and gta 4 sinse wedesday afternoon 25/3/14 it was playing ok in the morning. I am worried my console has been banned from playing multiplayer on rockstar games have not been told in an email so maybe its not. please help ?

This is a issue everyone is having right now. The servers all as good as down and Rockstar is working to fix the problem. There is nothing wrong with your ps3's!

This is a issue everyone is having right now. The servers all as good as down and Rockstar is working to fix the problem. There is nothing wrong with your ps3's!
