NPC Making an Impossible Shot

So i was just doing Coveted and i was on top of the hill i had full health and amour and all the sudden i died the NPC from the very tip of the cove manged to get me between the eyes with one shot.

 

How the hell are these NPC making these kind of shots with the guns they are using they def aren't using sniper rifles so how are they making such lost distance shots?

They can hit you even if they shot behind cover, and more frustrating is when you snipe them and the shot hits into a invisible wall.

The enemies from Coveted shout at you " im an ex marine corp" or something like that, I guess that training is how they learned to make those impossible trickshots

I've had an experience like this, full health and one shot in the face from very far off and I was dead.

I was doing a coveted playlist with Franceska and some guy got me in like 2 shots, dunno if R* tweaked the mission so that they can have a sniper rifle since one shot did half the damage on my health(the enemies that are next to the cargobob)

one other thing too that drives me nuts is when you hit them rigth between the eyes they get right back up like the wind just knocked them over i shot one guy three times in the head before he finally stayed down for good.

 

Another thing i noticed with Coveted the NPC seems to flash in and out when you zoom in with the sniper rifle but if you shoot you still hit em but you can't see em

They also seem to be expert marksmen who while they are driving i've been killed with one bullet when i was way ahead of them

Lol, perhaps and yea, sometimes the enemies dissapear/re-appear when you zoom in on them with the sniper scope(mostly when I'm sniping from the hill) it's not a big deal though except for hitting a guy 3 times in the head and they don't die

How have you just noticed this now? In both SP and MP the NPCs have uncanny aim and can hit you with a pistol when you are trying to shoot them with a sniper. So you're complaining about Coveted, where some of the enemies actually have sniper rifles? A head shot from an NPC with a sniper will put you down, just like anyone else.

I don't think I'll ever reach lvl 100 to get that glorious RPG. Best I can try to get is the Grenade launcher (Noob tube)

From the description, the shot doesn't sound impossible at all. Can you snipe them in the head from the top? Yes. So they can snipe you back. Though, this has never happened to me. I more hate their blindfire accuracy.

The NPCs are able to make those shots because that is the range of the carbine, and I presume you're playing on hard, which means NPCs are able to make those kind of shots. Players can make those shots too, but you have to use freeaim, even in AA.

Yeah I was a bit surprised at getting killed last night doing Coveted, being shot from an NPC who's pretending they have a sniper rifle is a bit much, luckily I was only picking off the remaining few as another player had the crate halfway to the drop off point.

Yep a few of the guys across the water behind the Grangers have snipers and also at least 1 guy has a sniper down by where the helicopter lands. If you are careless and playing on hard, they can actually get lucky and double tap you for a kill. But basically, you should never die on Coveted, because it's so ridiculously easy.

The enemies should only dissapear/re-appear when playing with others. Doing it solo will fix it.

 

The guy between the Grangers, close to where the cargobob lands, is the most dangerous one in Coveted. I believe he actually got a sniper rifle. He always stands still and use time to aim at me before he pulls the trigger and ends up killing me. I never die as long as he is my first victim

here's the problem :

~ your strength is too damn low

~ apparrently there's another sniper near cargobob's landing spot , the sniper is facing at sea . if u can get little closer , his model will popup ( like san andreas , tree texture popups are slow ) therefore you can assassinate him with a sniper

~ there around 25 total enemies ( 4 guarding targeted container , 1 sniper near start , 1 near wrecked blue burrito , 2 near two wrecked cars and near dirtbike , 2 near a granger , 4 close to cargobob's landing spot , 4 on untargeted container , 6 guarded across the cove with 5 of them take cover on 2 granger and one of them cover in crates on shore & one is cargobob's pilot )

~ their weapons are : SMG ( many ) , pistol ( few ) & sniper ( 2 )

~ just like military , being an ex-marines they are crack shooter

~ logic : u use combat MG to shoot enemies on across cove and they use SMG , u don't have enough range and they still have enough range to hit u

You only need to kill 8 enemies on Coveted.

 

1. Snipe guy by Granger at top of mountain. Run to Granger.

2. Snipe 6 guys down by where the helicopter lands

3. Get in Granger and drive down helicopter landing area. Twiddle your thumbs until it arrives.

4. Shoot heli pilot as he gets out, get in cargobob, rotate it clockwise (this way the guys across the water won't be able to shoot you through the cockpit) and fly to shipping crate.

5. Pick up crate, fly away.

 

I can solo this mission in my sleep. You're never in any real danger of getting killed. The only time something can go wrong is if you have a crap heli pilot and they can't seem to latch onto the shipping crate.

The NPC draw distance problem only happens when playing this with two or more people. If you're soloing it they are visible at any range.
