How did I get that much?

It wasn't my first time playing it.

It wasn't the hosts first time playing it.

One of the three players only got $15,365 or something.

^I would also say this

Sometimes the payouts get fuqed up when someone dies and spectates... noticed that, too... really weird :/ but I can't get any evidence to prove this

Maybe there was some kind or reset and now the game thinks a lot of people (Because you're not the first to have this experience) are playing it for the first time

I'm pretty sure anytime R* makes a change to a Mission it gets a new "internal" id and therefore thinks it's some people's first time playing it when in actuality it is their first time playing that "revision".

I think it's a bug on their part (I don't think they had originally planned to have "first time" mission payouts in the game) with the implementation of that code.

[/nerd]

** Just a theory

Looks like it was played on normal.

If it was played on hard you would've got 37,500 for your first time hosting, and 18,750 from there on.

so when you play a mission on a difficulty that you've never played on, it counts as if you played it the first time? would and wouldn't make sense :)

First time is your first time regardless of what setting it's on. I f*cked up with Base Invaders in the beginning playing it on normal, when I set it to hard I only got half of the max payout. You won't get a first time payout with all 3 settings. So to everyone that's new to the game, play the missions on hard from the minute you get them for the first time.

Enjoy the luck streak now, let me know if it continues for 2 or more days. Then you'll know if it was R*s f*ck up or not.

This happened to me with every mission the first time I played them after they added them to the start menu. Since they apperantly removed it for a little bit, it's probably the same thing. The game thinks you're playing it for the first time.

Ballistic Jello

You will get that $30K+ payout for the first time you finish the mission, AT THE CORRECT RANK. In this case 75.

Normal - $15,625

Hard - $18,750

Normal, first time at Rank 75 - $31,250

Hard, first time at Rank 75 - $37,500

You may get it other times, but that's unintentional and I haven't seen anyone yet able to duplicate the conditions where that happens.

It's tough to remember all these rules about how stuff pays out.

Just figure it's either what is suppose to happen or a glitch at this point.

Yeah, I don't think it is intentional in the slightest. Getting reset on patches/completion status forgotten by R*'s servers.

Not going to complain though. That little extra bonus every now and again is nice, but nothing to write home about unless you can get it every time you do the mission.

I did a mission where I had to intercept Rons friend from the prison bus and was surprised to get 30k

'Bust Out' it's a good paying mission, if it's paying double right now will have to give another go :0)
