Question: Albany Cavalcade?

so, i've been looking for this SUV for a while and just recently found it, however it just hit me that it's not the SUV i was looking for

 

so, now realizing that there's two versions of it (the one i want has a glowing outer-rim on the headlights, sorta like the coquette, the one i currently have doesn't), i'm now searching for it again, but two questions

 

one: is there a certain area it spawns in, or does it spawn regularly in the city?

 

two: the one i own has some great looking appearance mods, such as bumpers, skirts, chassis, even a boombox in the back. does the version i'm looking for have these options, or any custom mods at all?

mostly 'cause it was one of those cars that i disregarded, until making a second character, whose garage is mostly just for looks

now suddenly i find myself wanting an escalade, but i guess i'll keep the one i have

Even without mods, the newer Calvacade looks way better. The older style looks boxy and dated.

i kinda agree, i do like the style of the more recent one better, i just enjoy customizing cars. i'll probably ditch my current one once i find the newer version though

Yes, it is true that the GTA IV Cavalcade has a few more visual mods over the new Cavalcade. One of the most memorable is the massive sound system you can put in the back. So IMO what it comes down to is subwoofer or tinted windows...tinted windows or subwoofer...tinted windows or tinted windows I'm going with the tinted windows and as such would rather have the new Cavalcade.

Cavalcade 2. Easy way to spot the difference while cruising around free roam doing other things is to just look at the grille.

Actually bud, all those "Business Update" cars on SSASA.com were always in the game. You had to find and steal them. R* made a misleading graphic on the web page.

 

To OP, don't be discouraged by a lack of spoilers and body kits, a good looking truck doesn't need them.

Get the old one. I mean, both are the equivalent of the Douchecalade, right? Might as well get one with a subwoofer, so if you feel like blasting Radio Los Santos at your mic and people tell you to stop, you can inform them that you're obliged to do that because of your subwoofer.

Despite the new Cavalcade looking better with default settings, I've always settled for the first Cavalcade due to the amplifier and speakers in the back. I used to rob the gang-version cavalcade on GTA IV which had it, with a default colour of red and gold decals, I'd just visit a pay-n-spray and get it Blacked-out,

They're referring to the website vehicles.

 

To clear things up, the GTA IV Model of the Cavalcade was available from start on SA Autos. The new model of the Cavalcade came available for purchase on the website when the Business update released.

 

And for the cars, you have missed the Roosevelt.

I like the older one better, i used to have it but my GTA glitched and it got removed
