what was the worst you ever did in "titan of a job"?

tonight me and a friend of mine was doing titan of a job and we took out the merryweather mercs, but my friend also blew up the big rig that was blocking the titan, but i managed to get it past the big rig, but i destroyed one of the engines doing it, but i did manage to take off on three engines and we flew to sandy shores but i overflew the airstrip and i pulled a hard left, but on three engines it was really sluggish, when i made it back to the strip and lowered the landing gear, i destroyed the titan while landing!!

 

yes i know this could have been easily posted in the story thread, but i wanted to share it with you guys and ask what was the worst you ever did at this job??

the first time i played it i took cover behind my car out in the open infront of the hangar, while i was a low level

got shot to sh*t and couldnt do anything about it cause i had no weapons lol

I joined a random mission, it was Titan, there were 2 other people. So we start the mission and these 2 other guys screw around the whole time, they never even went to the airport. I ended up soloing the whole thing. So as I'm flying the titan, I see they are messing about at the helipad near the marina, so I just said f*ck it and kamikazed the titan into their helicopter as they were taking off.

Funniest was when a friend of mine was piloting the jet and he forgot to put down the landing gear before he landed, we completed the mission successfully though the jet just dragged along the runway up to the yellow marker lol

There was one time in my earlier days that it took me about 10 tries with this other dude and I couldn't finish it. I was way too reckless.

Crew member tried to do a barrel roll about 50 feet off the ground, sadly I was in the plane as well so instant death and mission failed

first time I got the mission my friend and I were bashing the back of it with a baseball bat to open it up... But it never did, well fully but that didn't stop me from ramming my car into it(not fast mind you, rather slowly) but it still blew up. Was kinda funny, I guess.

Not Titan, but coveted I once said screw it I will fly, I went to get the box and the stupid heli bobbed wrong and I overshot it so I backed up an a blade hit the box, wouldn't let me grab it then said heli destroyed even though I was still in flight trying to grab it. I was so ashamed I turned off the xbox.

Ran over everybody while they were sniping the mercs then plowed my car straight into the back of the hanger and went nuts on the mercs. Actaully beat the mission too.

I always took it down the long runway at Trevors airfield, decided to take it and land it on the short one for a change and to save time. Didn't realize there is a pole on the right side, blew the damn thing up...my bad.

 

I also think there were 4 other people in the Titan with me. I was so embarrassed I left immediately.

Tossed a grenade at a merc hiding by the dock loader, thought I had my tear gas selected. Took out the Titan along with it.

 

Charging the hangar with a firetruck and hosing down the mercs while my friends snipe them from the runway. Was hilarious and worked brilliantly the first time I tried it, now I just end up meeting a hail of bullets and dying unnecessarily most of the time, and it gives us another vehicle to clear out of the way besides the trailer. Would never attempt such a thing playing with randoms.

Players like OP always confuse the sh*t out of me, at first I think their idiotic play is obviously trolling, but then I wonder, maybe they really are just that stupid!

Well just today I got in with two randoms (both noobs) that ended in a no contest. My mechanic refused to bring my car so I had to jack a sedan off the highway and drive it across the map. By the time I got there the two guys had cleared out most of the enemies. The real challenge was the guy trying to get the Titan out of the damn hangar. There was a crispy looking Semi truck in front of the wing making lift off impossible. We couldn't just move the truck out of the way since it was burnt up so me and the other guy spent 20 minutes trying to ram the truck out of the way with Hummers.

 

After moving the truck and fending off Merrywether spawn the guy finally managed to get the Titan out of the hangar. There was only one plane out of there and the other guy flew it off, leaving me stranded with Merrywether guys at the airport. I had no idea what was going on with the two in the air while I drove around trying to find another plane. A few minutes later, in my frustration, the guy that took my plane kamikazied into the Titan, destroying it and costing us the mission. Because I wasn't there, I don't know the complete story. Whether the guy did it on purpose or not I will never know, the point is, if I had gotten to that plane first, we would have completed the mission.

I was with a group, made it through and flew the plane out to Sandy Shores. I landed nicely and accidently put the landing gear up just before reaching the marker and they would not come back out. I got out to look and someone blew it up. Probably thought I trolled them.

Letting a random fly it almost always leads to a mission failed. I don't know if it's my luck, but 9 times out of 10 they'll either destroy it before getting it off the ground, or forget to put the damn landing gear down before touching down.

most frustrating time i had on titan of a job was with 2 mates and two randoms. the randoms kept pulling each other out of the pilot seat so i took it and as i was taking off they shot at me and destroyed the tail controls. and i had no fine tuning left and right i had to tip the plane to turn it. had 5 go's at trying to line up the landing then said f*ck it and just crashed the plane.

Remind's me of playing with a few random's who would not shut up through the whole mission, so drove to the airport, killed the merc's, flew the titan with said random's inside and just as i was about to land i said "hope you can swim" and jumped out.

 

The mission was a failure needless to say but worth the reaction's,

Start of mission, everyone rode off and I had to wait for my car to spawn.

 

I parked next to the hangar. As I got out, someone thought it would be a great idea to blow up my car to start an exploding chain reaction, so I died.

 

I spawned and saw the enemies were dead. The other players went in the Titan while the big rig was in front of the plane. I got in the big rig to move it but the pilot thought he can fit through and pretty much wrecked the plane and killed all of us in under 10 seconds.

 

I didn't even quit properly. I just turned off my system after that show of stupidity.

i did that mission with my bro, the first time we approach with caution, snipe merryweather, took off in the titan, while landing i kinda lose perception of the ground level and end up crash landing the titan, failing the mission!

We managed to pass the mission once by landing it without the wheels down. Stops faster, if it doesn't blow up

I was flying the Titan over Los Santos when I accidentally hit Triangle. I wondered why the Titan wasn't responding. Then seeing my guy do a dive bomb out of the Titan and watching it crash into a hill, sent the rest of the lobby (who died in the initial firefight) into a rage.

f*cking merryweather army destroyed 2 engines(both on the right side),I landed it with 2 engines working,that was awesome.It sometimes stopped working in the air,was very hard to arrive at the air strip
