Trading apartments in for garages

Anyone do this or think about doing so? Who knows when heists are coming out and there's no point in having an apartment

I've traded in expensive apartments like Eclipse for cheaper ones and still seem to lose money every time.

Yes, I did exactly that a couple of days ago and haven't looked back. If high end apartments end up being a necessity, I'll just go back. It's nothing a few rounds of Rooftop rumble and coveted won't fix.

 

When properties are traded, you get half the money back from your last purchased property. That's how that works.

I did it. I have one on supply st. Both LSC and Ammunation are right there. A 5 second drive. I don't need all that apt madness. It was a struggle just to leave the Eclipse Towers.

Well I don't think it works right then because I went from Eclipse $391k to Richard's Majestic $253k and it still cost me over $150,000 or something like that. According to you, it should have only cost me like $60,000.

Already done it, 10 car garages are nice and quiet, very rarely I see anyone outside of mine.

I had the weazel apartment for my now deleted second character. Sold all my vehicles and bought a 2 car garage made a $174,000 profit. I guess it depends on what house to garage you buy.

More people do this than you think, and for good reason.

 

For me Weazel is the place I like best, I won't get into why. However since the option of being able to spawn in your garage I've got no interest in doing so. Quiet enough here anyway and I like the area.

never owned an apartment, only garages. didn't see any reason to even get an apartment. 10 car garage comes with TV and radio. only things i could see extra would be a closet for outfits, a shower and inviting people over to party. maybe a second route out of the apartment for a couple from what i understand. although i'll get one if needed, till then i'm perfectly happy with my garage.
