If I didn't do anything to you, you are in fact being a total a-hole and deserve to be banned. Tanks have ruined public lobbies I'm so fed up with this useless vehicle. The more stuff to buy, the more stuff people have to look forward to. I think the Lazer should be available for purchase as well. It can be called in repeatedly, often the user goes passive or off the radar and gets another instantly 2. Its not invincible but its also not easy to take down 3. They destroy your car, YOU pay for it. Who at Rockstar (emphasis on the ROCK they were obviously smoking) thought this was a solution/ good idea?!?!?!?! Things that can be done to make it more balanced 1. Waiting period between tank/ any pegasusu vehicle for that matter 2. Anti-tank weapons 3. Call Merryweather anti-tank helicopter gunship 4. Limited amount of ammo in tank 5. Icon on map that shows player is in tank letting other players avoid them The tank is garbage, used hardly ever by anyone for a legitimate reason and only used by those who suck at killing otherwise to get a bunch of easy kills so they can scream at middle school lunch the next day about their k/d. I've come across more than one occasion where a crew's teamed up against me and proceeded to spawn kill the crap out of me. In instances like this, I bring out the tank and even up the score until they decide to enter passive mode, leave the session, or just run off and leave me alone. The developers could change some parameters of the tank, like the cannon rotation (It's insane !) or the reload time to be somewhat real (It reloads faster than my RPG !) First of all, if you want to be 'good' at a shooter, just play a different game. Seriously tthough. 90% of those who complain about this seem to forget they're complaining about a 3RD PERSON shooter that uses auto-aim. Even if you think you're good, you're really not that good. Nearly all your kills come from you poking your head out so u can lock-on & light someone up. I've played battlefield, killzone & CoD competitively, so when people complain about "so & so who sucks" (wherever that applies) ...I laugh. Combat in this game comes down to auto-aim, that stupid barrel roll, & whoever stays put behind their cover the longest. Alright. Secondly. As others have mentioned . Its gotten to the point where if you're in a tank, you're automatically an asshole intent on spawn killing the entire room till they leave. That some BS. I almost always, only get into my tank if I have a bounty on. Then when people get close, I honk, maybe fire into the air, & spare those who dont foolishly try to blow me up. Then sometimes a friend is in trouble. Other times I'm layin down on my couch half asleep, rollin around doing gang attacks, not bothering a soul. & sometimes it funny just to go to the cluster of blips on the map in yer tank, just scare people lol, watch them scatter. Kids got mad and called a tank.... I shotgunned one of them and hopped in the rhino and dispatched the other. Not even passive mode helped them over the next half an hour. You're always defending them like there your mother or something I rarely encounter tanks at all anymore. And if I do, I find them easy to avoid. Most of the times you'll notice the carnage miles away and be able to take a detour. Also the tanks are slow as f'ck. The problem is that people in general get this arbitrary urge to kill the guy in the tank and in the process they become more and more angry. Then we get posts like this. I own a tank but rarely use it since I don't find it very useful. IMO the satisfaction you get from a sniper headshot is far superior to a tank kill.
