I just joined a session and i was driving around the airport and i saw a guy running, i put passive mode on and stopped for him to get in but he killed me?

Passive mode doesn't work in a car.

But yeah OP, Always get out of a car with passive mode on first. Then if they're nice they won't try to kill you, but if they do, just wait till they think you're some sort of elite god mode hacker and go away. So many people online do not realize what passive mode is

Yesterday there were these 2 guys trying to grief me in a car. I played chicken with them (while in passive mode) for a while by dodging their car for a bit. Then I got bored and went up to a ledge. One of them even got out thinking he can push me out. It was pretty funny watching them realize how easily their sh*t can be averted.

Its just the nature of Online players killing anything that moves. If only they knew your GTA F's Avatar is a very enthusiastic smiley face then they would have known you're a good guy

The guy has probably given people the benefit of the doubt before only to be given a sticky bomb to face for his consideration. Passive mode is often used for non passive reasons as well.

 

People can be overly aggressive dicks in the game but OP is just being a drama queen imo like so many others on here.

Rule number 1, 2, 3, and 4, 5 , 6, 7, 8, 9, ...... if they're not your friend or you're not talking to them, don't trust them. It doesn't pay to be friendly.... obviously.

 

On another note.

 

You could have wanted to drive both of you into a propane tank or into the water for all they know. I probably wouldn't have killed you, seeing that you were PM, but I would've given you some warning shots letting you know to leave me alone.

Had a guy shoot me in the back while taking a picture of my car. I know I should have checked around me first but I'd feel like a loser if I got kills that way.

I wasn't killed...but one day someone was being chased by the police, I was in a Maverick flying. I followed him and when I got a chance landed near him to help him escape....but no, he though I was a threat...a threat...IN A FREAKIN' MAVERICK...and started shooting, so I lifted off and let him to his luck

Don't get me wrong. I don't go around starting fights (often), but i'm always ready to kill if the need arises. At this point, unless I see F or C on the portrait, I assume that everyone has hostile intent.
