Does no one play anymore?

Trying to get people to join ANY of the games I host is already a bitch, and when no one plays it, it's already annoying trying to get people to join. So, I've resorted to joining quick jobs or just plain joining any jobs and I get put in alot of sh*tty deathmatch lobbies. So, now I've taken intrest in Capture.

 

Does no one play capture anymore? I mean I can't even get in a single lobby with a single person and when I host it, I can't get more than 5 people and if I'm lucky I get about 1 other person... It's annoying and a pain in the ass since I love this mode so much but now no one is playing.

Join a crew that does Captures and those type of gamemodes. My crew does them a fair bit. If you want to join PM me as I don't want to advertise but they're giving away a custom controller at the moment.

Capture mode is only good in free aim, and since you can never find games in free aim, capture is dead.

I've hosted a ton of different Playlists and if you're not in some big Crew like IGN then you can't get people to join them. I don't even think the "skilled matched" players option even works. I would rather it get "people who actually play the game" as an option to invite.

OP I have found this when hosting jobs from invite only sessions. When I host from a public session, I don't seem to have many issues.

Matchmaking is terrible. Seems like they should just let us see a list of the "open" game lobbies and let us join the one we want.

If Rockstar wants people to play Capture, which is totally fun, they need to up the payment. I think I got $700 for being on the winning team in a 6-8 person capture that took 10 minutes.

It's annoying because I'm either put in crappy deathmatches, surivals with dumb team-mates, LTS and on my own team by myself against everyone else, and more crap. Deathmatches pay sh*t. I've yet to find a decent lobby in deathmatches where there is a good host and a good amount of players. It's ridiculous. I'd rather free-roam and kill random people because I'm getting nowhere near the gun tints I want with this crap.

Yeah, you get put into a lot of bad created maps going through Quick Jobs (melee only/punching only/tanks only) but I do find full lobbies a lot of the time. Payouts seem fine as winning team often gets from $10K-16K per player.

Play airport parking, haha it's the most unbalanced game mode, and if you're on the attacking team you'll be put in the deficit due to how many explosives you will use.

Yes, in AA lobbies. People don't even know where you are a lot of the time they kill you. They're just camped somewhere and spam the aim button until it locks onto you. You can tell they're doing this because they never get a headshot and just keep shooting your stomach (where it locks).

People camp in any lobby. Characters are slow on their feet, and you're not getting very far if you act like Rambo, there's a cover system for a reason.

Haha, you obviously haven't met me then. I do not give a f*ck and I play like rambo but I also play smart and use the cover system. They aren't slow on their feet if you know how to execute the kill without being killed. I've done it plenty of times. There's a roll system for a reason. Friendly tip, unless you are at a distance, if someone comes at you rambo style and know what they're doing, all you have to do is pop out of cover to shoot, I roll, and shoot you with a auto and I win. I'm just wanting a lobby where I kill in a controlled environment w/o tanks, jets, buzzards, cops.

 

And get paid for killing.

Woah. I played All Abhorred as a 2v2 which turned into a 2v1 (not in my favour) and when I won I got $15k.

 

It's a shame really, because R* actually put some effort into making typically bland game mode (CTF, essentially) interesting by putting a GTA slant on it and no-one plays it.

I wish they'd either fix matchmatching, put in what that one guy said and have the option to play with people playing the game mode, or f*cking up the pay or something to get more people interested.

All pvp modes should add players to games in progress. The stupid lobby invite system kills your chance of filling the room 90% of the time. Also is it just me or does it always wait until the time has almost run out to add players one at a time, delaying the start for minutes?
