Theory on the pvp score in fm

Brief backstory:

 

So yesterday I was hunting bounties, was pulling up to my chopper at the airport, when I see a white dot coming towards me rapidly. I decide to wait in my car for a sec, sure enough, he opens fire. I capped him in the head with my pistol, then proceeded to catch two more bounties, with this little sh*t trying, unsuccessfully, to kill me the whole time.

 

He keeps coming, so I start lighting him up. Then the text messages start, as he flees into the subway.

 

So anyway he quits, and I do a race. The next lobby I am in I am on the phone, no controller, but watching the screen, and a character with a different screen name shows up and throws 5 stickybombs on my unmoving vehicle. The score read 6-1, and I am pretty sure I had this little sh*t at 6-0.

 

Is it possible that the score is registered from the ip address, rather than the character name?

The KDR is shared between both primary and secondary characters, when I started a new character I did one race (won) and one LTS (won), however my KDR stat isn't 1 as it should be, it is basically the same as my primary character. Didn't know it would register the Vs. 'score' against another player if characters were swapped - but it kind of makes sense! The only thing that doesn't make sense is that they had a different name, the characters normally share the same name - I didn't think there was an option to change it?

OP it was probably a glitch, why would the same person go after you with a new account? By the way if someone leaves a session the score will be reset, the next time you kill the person it will read 1-0, so your 6-1 must be glitched.

sometimes the scores get kinda glitches...

 

there have been times when i kill a person and the score is kinda transfered to the next person.

 

most recent experience was last night, i killed this guy 24 times, he have killed me 5 times, he leave the server, i move onto my next victim, i kill that player 3 times before it kills me once, then the score show up 27-6, even know this player just came into the server and this was our first encounter.

 

same thing happen if you use the "highlight player" feature. when that player leave, the highlight would get passed to the next player on the list.

It's not a ''Glitch'' it registres the score on the cloud server.

 

joined a friend and his friends had killed me before, and it stayed on the exact amount of kills they got on me and i got on them.
