Personally, I'm getting a bit bored with modern day FPS. I'm really hoping for a Battlefield 1944 sometime - WW2 needs a revisit. What are we supposed to take it up the ass like chumps? Maybe you like being ripped off, but not me. All I hope is they don't do the same to Stars Wars Battlefront. It's only a re-skin, a few different dialogs with a different loading screen, new weapons and such. Would this been a DLC for BF4, it would have been a great move from EA/DICE, but despite the fact that it's a spin-off, it's neither a step forward or backwards. With a playable version already done, I'm thinking this will get a 2014/2015 release. Now, I wonder if this game has the role Arkham Origins did. I have no info on who is making this game (may be DICE, but I doubt they are on it full force). Through if Battlefront comes out 2015, I doubt this will get a 2015 release. I'm saying '14. To tell the truth, I'm kinda disappointed in all honesty. I wasn't expecting an entirely new game (since it's a spin-off) but there's barely any improvements. My opinion here will probably won't be a popular one, but I rather play this so called spin-off instead of Battlefield 4 or Ghosts/Advanced Warfare. I got tired of military themed first person shooters long time ago, Hardline atleast offers a new theme, cops versus robbers, bank heists, looks a little bit more tactical, I know it's not a big deal, but hey, it's atleast a little bit of something else. My thoughts exactly IMO people are too quick to judge it. All we've seen is leaked footage. More than likely 6 months old. We'll see more next week at E3, and I agree with tnz1992 every FPS that comes out nowadays is military themed. It's getting too repetitive. I expect a "new," probably modified, military FPS each year, and most have minute changes. I stopped looking a long time ago. I skipped BF4 because I hadn't completed BF3 before 4 was released. I like the new police theme, this one has my interest. It gives a different variety to FPSs. It still is a "war," there's war on drugs, gangs, crime, etc... Well, atm I dont see this game having success. If you read the comments to the Gameplay leak from yesterday, there is almost noone who is actually excited about it. This will end up in a sh*tstorm when EA charges 60-70€ for this plus 50€ Premium for a game that a team of 3 modders probably could have done in the same time with most likely a more innovative approach... and it would be free... It looks just like BF4 in every possible way meaning nothing new. Annual releases killed the COD franchise years ago, and now it looks like BF will be the same. I have a feeling the Heists will just be a watered down version of CTF or somehthing where you just stand by something for a period of time to capture it or protect it. All those 'epic' looking moments in the demo would be entirely moot in a live game where people are aiming to actually kill you. Seems like all it takes is for a single troll on your team to obtain the loot and hand it over to the police for your team to lose.
