If they opened up all guns to all sides by default I could have a little bit more fun, seeing as there is an extreme lack of guns to begin with. But it still seems to me, at least on consoles that the AKS-74u, 553 and the CAR-556 are the only primary weapons that remain consistent and useful at actually getting kills with. Which is a f*cking shame. Because it doesn't give me much options for much else. The Glock 17 rapes all other pistols too. The weapon balance in this game is awful. 64 player conquest can be fun still but I have BF4 syndrome where I don't really like any of the maps except one, and until DLC hits (even though it isnt worth it right now) I am really bored of them all. Dust Bowl is all I even want to play most of the time. Other rarer maps seem to always been too far away in the rotation or only on specific modes like blood money. I managed to get out of the way and inside a building then just fall down dead 2 seconds later. I also think the f*cked up vehicle physics is also down to that too. I noticed when I watched some Jackfrags videos playing with the sofa on dustbowl he had surprisingly better physics on PC than I get on console. It actually looked like the vehicle was catching air rather than just rubberbanding around. What the game needs to bring me back to it is: -Fix the f*cking lag. -To open up all weapons to both sides. Including allowing us to use any pistol on any kit. -Custom servers so I can just play dust bowl 24/7 or actually have a round last longer than 5 minutes. -Reduce the requirements to unlock the weapons. (Get max rep 10 times? f*ck off, not in a 5 minute f*cking game timer) -Nerf the RPG's a little in hotwire. -Balance the money payout for other modes in comparison to hotwire. -Allow us to own (once bought) camo for all sides. It is bullsh*t that I have to spend 100K for each of the 4 teams just on one camo skin, let alone all the others. At least just the first 3 or 4 of those. I would be happy then. Kinda of hard to get any thing done in Hotwire, Conquest, and Heist when 3/4 of both teams has pitched a tent and are snipers 24 f*cking 7, as a result matches on Dust Bowl and Everglades seem to last for f*cking ever. I still like playing dust bowl on conquest but I am extremely bored with the game right now. Aside from the tazer it doesn't have anything fun over BF4. Grappling hooks and ziplines are fun but they could easily be patched into 4 and they existed in BF2:SF anyway. We should have had them years ago. The only time I sit in one spot of the map is on three Conquest maps (on Xbox 360), Downtown I set up shop at B (losing B almost always results in losing the match) and on Dust Bowl I set up shop at C (Yet again this control over this spot can make or break a match) and on Riptide I set up shop in B (you can guess why) and on all three maps snipers tend to go to these control points as well, even more reason for me to set up shop at these points. In all fairness, it seems to leave the plot open for a sequel, but it just felt so rushed. That and the amout of flaws within the campaign is so unreal, it just ruins what could have been a great game. Why is he still arresting people after breaking free from prison? Consistently I'm still having at least two or three mad moments in every game. (Putting the finishing touches on a new 10 minute highlight reel for youtube atm.) Last match, I laughed so hard after getting payback on someone who was tea-bagging my squad mate over and over and over again. The guy did a 45 degree turn in my direction and it was too late. Then I did the same back to him. The frustration is there (with lag or hit markers) but so is the fun. You just have to mix it up. Even with a weak SMG you can drop people so much faster and more accurately. Even shooting at long range with a DMR seems to just work perfectly and the sight resets properly. I just don't get that in Hardline. I had some seriously bullsh*t battles on whatever map is in the tiny back yard. Like up to 3 shotgun shots off on center mass of an enemy from 10 feet away and none hit and they auto kill me. I don't give a f*ck, there is something insanely wrong with the game. When I was on BF4 the other day I had an average lifespan of 5-10 minutes, in hardline you just die from a gnat farting on you, with no warning. Defo ain't buying any DLC until the gameplay runs smoothly and is totally fixed. It is the main ruiner of the game. At the very least make dramatic improvements to a lot of the guns. I need more choice. And I want my Glock 17 on any kit ffs. Also more importantly it takes FOREVER to do anything, reload, switch weapon, swing melee weapon, aim down sights, throw grenades etc. It takes a god damn age compared to BF4 and in a game that is fast paced already it really f*cks you over and reaction times are pointless if you have already hit weapon swap at the wrong time. My biggest problem right now is getting used to maps and being cautious about where I go. Kinda mad dmrs weren't a default unlock. It's gonna be awhile before I get im actually used to handling, but for now I'm stuck with the scout elite.
