Just got to the rank 20s, I think it's about time I start changing up my class now.. was sticking with Operator to unlock some outfits for him which you don't get until you basically unlock all loadout slots as well as rep. Also going to start some other game modes that I've been avoiding, the Hostage one looks very interesting as well as the one with the snitch, but the fact that it's a one life per round kind of thing... makes me nervous to stay in a match for way too long because every stays in the deepest part of the map.

 

I played the Crosshairs one several times but the match seems to be over in less than a minute so it's rather boring to me but i do like the Hostage one quite a bit.

 

The taser is rather fun.

I'd love to hear their reactions when hit by it.

So the SCAR-H with an RDS, heavy barrel, and foregrip is a monster. I run with that and a 1911 every time I'm the 5-0 and it's awesome.

Hello peeps quick question

 

I have bf3 & 4 i love em should I go ahead and buy it? I'd be playing online a few hours a week but wouldn't touch SP. Not sure if it's worth it

Honestly i say don't waste your money right now. The game needs a lot of work and i would wait until some of the issues are sorted out before buying it.

 

It's a fun game with good features for the most part, but the time to kill/lag comp is so ridiculous that it makes the game unplaybale for a lot of people. It worked both ways in the beta, but it's very one sided in the released version fo the game. During the 2 days i've played i haven't gotten more than 8 kills in any game and i go double negative in every second one i play.

 

I've played FPS game for as long as i can remember i have high awareness in these games, but when i drop dead without taking any damage on my screen/get killed with what seems to be a single bullet from a handgun there's not much to be done.

 

It's a good game, but in it's current state it's almost worse than BF4 at launch.

Earlier i was playing and i was using the shotgun and i came around a corner and i shot the dude point blank yet he didn't die by i did after what seemed like one shot froma pistol and on the killcam it said his health was 100%.

 

I think i am going to stop playing till that gets fixed

Personal experience is that BF4 was much, much worse on launch than has been. It took a good month or so before I could play that with any consistency and not suffer really bad issues.

 

Haven't touched TDM yet and unsure if I will. They always struck me as out of place in both 3 and 4.

That starter auto rifle from the beta left a sour taste in my mouth. I'm sure the recoil and other tidbits that were screwed up were fixed, but still.

I've been playing Hotwire mostly with Voodoo, Moonshield, and Daz, and have been enjoying that game mode. The money is pretty decent. Plus, when you can, who doesn't enjoy driving around on a motorized couch?

 

Maybe it's first week bugs, but holy, I have a hard time killing people. I had my G36C equipped and shot one guy in the head three times, only to have him turn around and one shot me.

Yeah not thinking of touching that one either, bad enough it's almost impossible to survive more than 3 minutes on foot.. can't imagine how it'll be in a much smaller scale with chaos left and right with a dash of spawn killing as well.

 

The other modes do look promising though, Hotwire was fun my first time playing it.. mostly because I kept blasting that KRS One song over and over again.

Over the top bullsh*t happens frequently in this build of the game. I've emptied my p90 into people without getting a single kill. Everyone claims this, but it actually does happen. The first 10-15 bullets just don't register and i know for a FACT that i hit him because he's standing still like an arsehole. I get 2-3 hit markers from the last few that i fire and then i just drop dead. The engine simply can't keep up with the game. It's the reason battlefront will be a mess.

 

Maybe a patch can get rid of some of the blatant bs that's going on with this game, but most of it is caused by region hoppers, and unfortunately that will never get fixed. But yeah that's what you get for playing on console i suppose.

I was playing in a local server too to see if that would help but nope that happened in a local server but i guess they really can't keep out people from across the pond out of local lobbies

TDM's simplicity makes it fun to me. Sure it's a cluster f*ck but since there is no objective besides killing, I find it more silly and chaotic rather than mediocre and frustrating.

Nah there's no region lock in place. Definitely not on console.

But it doesn't mean you'd be forced to play in your own region only.

No one said having high ping is an advantage.

 

As for region locking, rented servers should have a region lock option. Wich wouldn't interfere with the EA owned lag fest servers whatsoever.

Yeah they are pretty expensive. Maybe that's the reason it wasn't so popular with BF4. BF3 was loaded with rented servers, BF4 not so much.

The lack of a Squad based Server Browser is ridiculous. If you want to play Hardcore with friends, you'll need to find a Hardcore server by yourself then invite your friends and get on the same teams along with same Squad.

Has anybody else ran into rubber banding lag on PS4? The game has run smoothly for me since launch until today. I couldn't play one full match without it lagging like a motherf*cker.

No, wich is surprising actually. Also levolution doesn't hamper the framerate on the ps4 unlike BF4. The framerate is much more fluid in general. Then again it should be because there's a lot less happening.

 

Overall everything flows much better in this game. If only they sorted out the ridiculous OHK (seriously it never happened this much to me in 4) this game would be amazing.

 

I just wish the spas wasn't semi auto. Feels so strange.

Can't do a damn thing against choppers in this game, it's f*cking annoying. I wish they would let me unlock an anti-aircraft launcher, because the only way to take down a chopper is to hope your teammates don't have brains the size of peanuts. Was playing Hotwire on Dustbowl, and this chopper was dominating the map the entire game. Tried shooting it down with my primary, tried hitting it with a grenade launcher round, nothing works, it's ridiculous. Finally decided to hop in a chopper of our own, and two guys operate the guns, only for us to be shot down. We try again at full health, the enemy chopper clearly smoking. I'm flying by the chopper, and my gunners decide to start shooting it like ten minutes later, resulting in us losing another chopper.

 

I understand Battlefield is supposed to be more team-based, but if I'm not in a squad with friends, I want to be able to take down a chopper without it constantly just killing me over and over, since I literally can't do a single thing against it. This is honestly the only thing I really hate about this game.

I've actually had pretty good luck with getting a good gunner team or pilot to keep us on target what pisses me off though is people who take the helo just to get to where they want and they jump out leaving a whole helo full.

 

Whenever i see a helo from the other team on the map and i'm not in a helo i look on the map for Stinger missle which are hidden around the map in buildings and that's how i take em down that way.
