Case in point, no need to make a big deal over someones opinion on a damn couch car. Merely responding to someone making a big deal out of a couch car, that is rare, doesn't respawn and the novelty of the thing will likely wear out sooner or later. I find myself using Operator a lot, rocking the AKM for the criminals and SG553 for police. Is there any way to unlock more guns or are we stuck with like 4 primary guns per class & faction? No you aren't stuck with those guns... Have you noticed that you have been earning cash? You can use that money to buy new weapons just go to your load out pick the gun cataloge you want to buy and scroll down til you find the gun you want to buy. Same for all the new game modes actually, it feels like they had a lot of nice ideas but didn't know how to implement them. As for bullet damage I think it needed to be higher than Battlefield, these maps are obviously meant for quicker paced games. There have been multiple times where someone is about the blast me, and a corner is just an arm's length away for me to avoid them but they take me down so incredibly quick. If you get A LOT of kills with a certain weapon, you'll be able to use that weapon as both a cop and a criminal. Other than that, you're stuck with what you have until DLC guns release. I don't know if it's just the buffed weapon damage or the lag from everyone playing on day 1/2, but 1 shot kills from every single weapon left and right. I'm not going to write the game down just yet, but i'm finding it very hard to enjoy it right now. Yeah, I find that I always seem to die with one shot, yet it takes everyone else 10 bullets to die. I mean like seriously stupid amounts to the point where both my primary and secondary are empty. It is such bullsh*t. All the pistols suck too, nowhere near as good as BF4. It sucks being forced to use revolvers. I hear you. That's how it went for me today. Sometimes i just drop dead and the killcam says i was shot in the head. I guess the buffed damage + headshot multiplier + some lag will do that. Then again i destroyed people and they didn't even have time to react, so i can't complain. At the end of the day i finished with about a 40-60 good to bad game ratio wich is already better than BF4 was for me. I know it is not broken, but it acts like the right stick is sticking slightly upwards and almost all the time my screen just goes to the sky and it is driving me f*cking insane. Doesn't happen on any other game. I am getting some serious gamebreaking sh*t right now and I don't know if I should even continue playing. Johan Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 Game is finally getting me frustrated, thanks to the huge maps it feels almost impossible to escape air support when you're a f*cking Operator.. which I understand is the point of all the different classes, but it's even more annoying when you have all these guys hiding inside those bulletproof SUVs shooting out of the windows; only thing you can do is shuck a grenade at it and hope it blows up along with them or else you'll be taken down in half a second. Get your brain sniped off by someone across the map in any direction 2. Get destroyed in 2 shots by someone prone on the road 3. Get ran over 4. Air support still getting you 5. That's how latency looks. Heat seeking bullets. Nothing unusual about that though. Corners are always a death sentence in online shooters unfortunately. Anyway i'm getting the hang of this game now. Didn't help that i haven't played BF since november and the maps are really complicated at first. Also f*ck heists that sh*t is over in a second. Can't compete with no lifers who've been playing the game for 4 days straight in that game mode. Most of my frustration was gone after i switched to TDM/CQ. I have mixed feelings about the money system though. I liked working for guns in the past and now i just unlock everything when i want to. But in restrospect the assignments in past BF titles were awful. I hated having to do some ridiculous garbage to unlock a gun just because some chucklef*ck wanted you to shoot people while swimming. There's no need for third person mode in Story Mode really, unlike in Online. Also keeping it FPV in story mode keeps the feeling of immersion. Guest Billy Russo Posted March 21, 2015 Share Posted March 21, 2015 I absolutely love this game, I can't get enough of it. Easily the most enjoyable BF for me in quite some time. Immediately as I jumped in my first match I knew it was 'my' kind of game. The fast pace style and feel of the game suits me perfectly, and I was able to adapt fairly quickly. I'll agree with the Heist sentiment, I thought it'd be a good mode but I've barely touched it. Conquest on this game is surprisingly awesome, I didn't think it would be in the Beta, but after being introduced to more of the maps, it definitely fits. Most fun I've had so far on Conquest has to be Hollywood Heights. I love everything about the map, and everyone fights over that top roof area because you have a complete overview of the capture point below. I'm also finding Everglades to be a surprisingly good map. On first impressions, I thought it'd be a map I'd want to avoid like the plague but it's very diverse from the rest, and really frantic in the main middle area, I love it. My best class so far is Mechanic, it's all I've really been using, I can't not have the Satellite Phone tbh, which I find very useful, and the SMG's themselves are really good, specifically the K10. I hit someone, i get the kill, but the character models drop way after the kill message. It happened a lot when the server was lagging badly in BF3 and 4, but now it happens after every kill. I found it really funny, it's not as "slow" as it used to be, I remember when playing BF3 at Rush and I didn't find nobody until get to the objetive that matter already doesn't happen. I didn't like BF4 so I just got level 15, as much. The big problem is hit system, you got killed by 2 shots? and due to lag, heists mode has a lot, at least I got, TCT is OK. if someone just started playing I'd recommend you to play TCT 64 players in order to get the hand of shooting because it's not like BF4. Then it's OK. I miss more maps, I know there's going to be 4 packs but you know I wouldn't like paying for them. Someone said ''it's not real'', you are right, it's just a game. Yep it kicks major ass Just got to the rank 20s, I think it's about time I start changing up my class now.. was sticking with Operator to unlock some outfits for him which you don't get until you basically unlock all loadout slots as well as rep. Also going to start some other game modes that I've been avoiding, the Hostage one looks very interesting as well as the one with the snitch, but the fact that it's a one life per round kind of thing... makes me nervous to stay in a match for way too long because every stays in the deepest part of the map. Not sure if it's worth it Don't expect to be going 30-5 every match or so like most people did on Battlefield 4 that's for sure.. not saying you won't have matches like that but it's not with the same strategy as before.
