Cargobob Door

I remember playing a mission in GTA V SP where Franklin stood inside a Cargobob and shot the helicopters. In online, sure we have the option to use the hanger thingy and pick cars up, but shouldn't R* give us the option to open the back door? I mean, there is nothing bad about it, sure we could glitch out and fall, but that still makes it pretty fun! What R* should do is make it so that we have to tap the right button to put down the rope thing, and we could hold the right button to open the back door. This is actually pretty simple though and it could be pretty cool too. Imagine having a war with other players, your friend comes with a Cargobob and picks you up. You get in the back door and then after that other players chase you with their helicopter and you use a rocket launcher or a carbine to shoot them out. That is GTA right there, the ultimate gameplay.

 

R* needs to add this. I'm gonna be sharing the link with R* so I want to show them your opinion. Also, don't spam but show R* this link an send to anybody who could contact R* too. This is a pretty good idea.

I completely agree OP but they've patched the Titan's door to not open at all so they are heading the opposite direction.

It's now been patched. I hope they are working on it same with the titan door.

 

Right, here's my thinking on why it's been perma locked.

 

R☆ originally wanted us to be able to use them but, like a lot of the other stuff in this game, they never completed it. The floor in the titan is the same as standing on the roof of a vehicle rather than standing on the floor (like in the huge cargo plane in the Trevor misson)

 

This needs to be fixed.

 

They also need to make it so you can open it by using the D pad, the same way you open a roof of a convertible car.

 

there's also seats in the titan which nobody can currently sit on.

 

Once these problems are fixed, they will hopefully unlock the doors again so we can use them properly.

I wanted to drive ATV's or motorcycles in the back so we'd get dropped off atop Mt. Chilliad. Maybe even fit a slim car like the Dilettante..

Stupid. You have to fly the cargobob straight up and fly straight down and then slam the door against the ground to get it to open.

This topic is about the doors not getting inside.

 

Just landing on someone hard gets them inside.

It's already been established that you can't open the door. The only way to get in the rear hold is to glitch inside..

I used to land so the c-bob was at an angle, then just jump in the side door. Has this been patched?

As we can stand on busses and trailers while they're moving, I see no reason why R* can't make it available for us to stand inside the Cargobob and and the Titan.
