10 car garages?

I know this might seem like a dumb question, but are the lone 10 car garages the same as the 10 car garages that you get from a high end apartment?

 

The reason the i ask, is that I'm RPing one of my characters as a kind of greaser and having a garage seems more fitting, but I'm also a bit OCD and wouldn't be happy to have my cars order messed up.

The appear identical but I can't promise you the order is the same. It certainly seems to be, based on the lists when calling the mechanic (my main has 10 car apt, alt has 10 car garage).

You are over-estimating the greatness of 10 car garages...

1) You can't re-arrange cars in 10 car garages

2) There are, but they look different, and order is different

3) So, you're roleplaying as a grease monkey? Interesting

I've never made the shift so I can't be sure what happens when you do. However, in my garage with no apt, standing at the garage door, the far left corner is spot 1 on my mechanic list, near left is 5, far right is 6 and near right is 10. Just like my 19 10 car apt. The TV and bike rack are in the same places. The alcove where the elevator would be has no elevator door. Are other 10 car garages different?
