Lost weapons...

I searched the first three pages and didn't see anything related to this....

 

I logged on for the first time in four days and much to my chagrin, I no longer have the advanced rifle, any sticky bombs, or AP. Anyone else losing weapons randomly?

Are you at the level required for them? If you picked them up from a Deathmatch, Survival or a Crate Drop, you don't get to keep them.

Happened to me once, around the time the issues with characters being lost were being resolved.

Sure am bud. I'm a level 102. Never glitched and never had more than than 4.2 mill (in case it matters). Guess the lost weapons went the same place the Sandking and Tailgater I had many levels ago went. I've since replaced them, but pi$$es me off that I had to do so. I will wait a while before I purchase the weapons again just in case.

Hmm, odd. Apart from the Sweeper, i've not heard of weapons vanishing. That being said, there is a thread about things going missing since the Business Update.

there is a bug that cause some guns to disappear from inventory.

 

i have lost my ap, ak, special carbine, both sniper rifles, autoshutgun.

 

just like there are times you buy stickys and ammo, switch server and find that everything you bought disappear.

Moved to troubleshooting.

 

I have lost a number of weapons as well. My RPG, Grenade launcher, beach bum dlc weapons, assault smg, and heavy sniper have all gone missing at one time or another. If you're broke or cheap get them back in Survival. Otherwise you just have to buy them again.

 

Although, I suppose a friend could drop anything for you and dashboard so it doesn't save.

This is most likely not directly related to the problem, which the original poster is having, but players can also be unintentionally dropping their weapons.

When you bring up the weapon wheel and select a weapon, you can also hit Y (on Xbox) and it will drop the selected weapon.

Other than found higher level weapons disappearing from a lower level character, or a bug in the game, this is the only way I know to make a weapon go missing.

I actually like intentionally using the weapon drop feature because that way I do not have to flip trough so many selections of weapons to get to what I want. I just wish you can set the game to NOT automatically pick up certain weapons. For instance, I usually end up with normal pistols or sub-machine guns, which I do not want in my inventory because I have better top-accessory weapons in those weapon classes.
