Anyone still excited for the online Heists?

Well, Online heists were the reason I was excited for GTA:O but yeah... 6 months later and still nothing, so anyone still excited? I mean of course I'm happy if they'll be released soon (very unlikely) but my excitement now compared to my excitement 6 months ago is not the same...

Yea I'm abit excited since they're long overdue but it's understandable. Can't wait for threads that'll turn up a day later after the heists are released about how much they suck or didn't reach their expectations.

Judging by the previous DLC's there's not much shelf life to anything being released so I'm guessing that theme will continue.

 

Content creator - people making BS jobs

 

New capture modes are fun but lobbies are completely empty

 

Got bored of the new vehicles a few days after buying them...

 

I believe if they gave us a mission creator we'd be sorted. Fck Heists

Not much, and I never really cared for much since day 1. I was given $90 million within a few weeks of playing the game, and I was barely a level 60 on one character. Now I have 2 characters that are both at level 150, 2 high end apartments filled with cars, all clothing items and weapons, and about $3.5 million saved up. There's really nothing for me to buy at the moment.

 

What would excite me though is if the heists turn out to be much more than just a run-of-the-mill mission with a high payout. If you need to have dedicated hackers, drivers, gunmen, etc. where each person has some limitations and strengths and if the heists turn out to be longer and more challenging than the most difficult co-op missions online, then I would be very excited. To me, it's more about the fun than the payout. If that's not happening, well they better add some more things to buy like mansions, a 2nd garage, businesses, etc.

I don't care about heists.

I'd rather have great story-driven coop missions like solo mode.

Heists will probably only sum up to get inside a bank/store/whatever, aim at the personal, hack something then leave with the money while blowing up a sh*tload of police cruisers.

Nothing new, i don't see why people want it so much.

They'll probably say it couldn't be done, and that they could only be done on next Gen and pc or something.

Yeah I remember because when the "Business Update" came out, I thought it was the Dangerous Business Pack and I was flippin' sh*t cuz heists were coming and all that jazz, then I got some cars, guns, and suits.

People expected them so much the took R* to court over their absence. If I recall, that lawsuit was thrown out on the grounds that R* never promised Heists at launch. If they fail to deliver, there's no reason they couldn't be taken back to court, if people feel that strongly about it.

Pfft. Almost forgot about heists. Been buying Shark Cards for a bit. Although it would be nice for some new missions/heists.
