I can't help but think that the online experience is disappointing, it frustrates me so. Sure, It's fun but could it have been more fun? My opinion is that the game could have been much more enjoyable with a few tweaks. The potential for a remarkable game is there but a few changes to the existing content would do much for the online gameplay. I'm not interested in debating the specifics of police AI, the ecoomy, or heists, just whether or not the community feels somewhat put off by what Grand Theft Auto Online turned out to be.

No matter what people answer, if they weren't satisfied they would have moved on to another game.

Playing with randoms: Hate it 90% of the time

Playing with Friends: best game ever. Spent 5 hours last night just doing the gate glitch and screwing around.

It's a fun game with tremendous potential. We are only seeing the tip of the iceburg, hopefully.

They need to add new mission activities etc to high level players. 90 or 100+ to play. I only get on GTA online every time there is a new patch or DLC.

Hell no!

- Matchmaking is doing nothing

- Not a lot of missions, becomes a major grind late-game

- Playable only in auto-aim lobbys, nobody plays PvP in Free-aim

- NPCs don`t have turn signals

- Becomes boring very fast

- Almost nothing to go for when you have bought everything

- No heists

- No PC version

There are a lot more things that I`m not happy with in Online, and I mean A LOT. Just can`t remember them all now.

I expected a great coop experience with friends. What I got was a game full of glitches and cheating with boring missions and no real sense of coop.

The god mode tank greifing, rp exploits and severe cheating that rockstar let go on for 3 months drove me and most of my friends away from the game. That and the free content we get is worthless. More lame clothes, more guns and ammo and overpriced cars I can't upgrade unless I win 50 lame races.

This. Only when a patch comes out.

I have been level 116 for 3 months. I want the mini-gun, but get physically ill if I try to grind. FWIW, I only like missions, races and survival. If they came out with 20 new missions I would be on it and playing in a heartbeat. I have literally just done the missions too many times. I can't do it.

I am in the Army and deployed. I bought one of those game screens in a suitcase. I packed it up weeks ago to make more room, I only check these forums once a day to see if R* are going to do anything with the game.

Last update I played for 2 days, and packed away my PS3.

im satisfied...

was really happy before patch 1.11 brought the console freeze, would be very happy if they fix that on the next patch.

i would be the happiest man alive if they add the option to turn off the cops atleast in the invite only sessions.

overall im satiesfied with gtao, if i wasnt, i would have moved on to another game!

I'm satisfied with the game as it has thus far delivered everything I expected.

The only downside is that at least 90% of the player-base is made up of obnoxious moronic squeakers, Americans, and middle class English brats trying to sound ghetto but that's not Rockstars fault.

So for I'm satisfied with online, despite all the problems.

I AM NOT SATISFIED with the fukin sh*tty players.

Oh, and GTA V single player is no fun at all. I avoid it like a plague.

most of my hate is from singleplayer issues, of fun stuff being removed, i know they are going with this realism view but come on, Golf, Tennis, yoga? these are my options?

If online ads

Sports arena ( demolition derby motorcross etc it would be nice)
Dancing
Turf Wars
hydraullics
Spray tagging
bowling? (yes i actually liked it if it was online with friends it could be fun in my eyes)

drug dealing.
buisness owning
truck missions
Club secruity / bouncer missions... (everybody seems to know franklin at the place anyway.)

burglar missions (Give me that damn truck an let me go rob some baller bitches with lemar)

Gambling
Pool...
could go on really..

I finished story 100% and still didnt have enough money to come anywhere near buying all the properties an theres nothing to do that i know of to earn money fast afterwards so its like wtf, i guess the paid dlc will ad more like the liberty ones but damn alot of *fun* stuff is missing.

Gta online is what it is to me atm i just do missions for an hour a couple of times a week before going to bed its not the type of game i like to hang out in free roam with all the kids fighting each other in game and over mic i play another game on pc which is basically the same but i get to make my own stuff and i like designing with a livery editor more then killing people now days.

Yes to me its disappointing i feel it can and probably will be so much more, just not right now and old consoles might be limiting it i dont know. If it actually does keep getting support like a separate online world but i want to see it go further then heists i want all the fun side activities back and more.

Im satisfied with everything but the spawn system and the balance for cars and weapons... Im confident EVEN I could make a better system than the clusterf*ck of nonsense and blatant lack of rationality that the balance of this game has

It's fun, But there's so much more I wish they included. Gambling, Drug Dealing, Clan Matchmaking, Stock Markets, Online Assassination Missions, Heists, Etc. I feel as if Rockatars being lazy and making excuses saying the reasons they couldn't release heists and other things is because they have to fix glitches and bugs that players abuse, yet they pick and choose which glitches to patch, usually ones that directly affect their profit, rather than giving the player an enjoyable experience. Not to mention R* having different teams of development, One for patching bugs and others for creating new content. Which further rules out the fact of blaming the glitchers. I do enjoy GTA Online, But my interest is running out. I'm hoping R* can revive GTA Online, But that remains to be seen.

Im not satisfied but still play it every got damn day! :D

Lots of things to wish for but for me GTA is GTA and will keep playing it til next comes out. Takes break now and then for something other like Fallout and Skyrim with IV but then come back again.

Yes.

The free roam I think is a vast improvement over GTA IV. The only thing IV had over V was the community. In IV, people wouldn't shoot you on sight 80% of the time. But at least V has car and apartment ownership, car and character customization, crews, armored trucks, crate drops, vehicle importing, bounties, contact helpers, jets, planes, tanks, and a bigger world.

The missions are plentiful, although some are kinda repetitive. IV only had 3 co-op missions before the expansions came out. V also has tons of versus missions and a survival mode. They should bring back Cops and Crooks and some of the other modes missing that were in IV.

The racing is also much better. You can trick out your ride, create your own track, and there are more options to choose from in the menus. You can also fly planes and jets. I miss Cannonball Run from GTA IV though. I thought that mode was pretty cool.

If I were playing Battlefield, Call of Duty, Need for Speed, Fifa, or Tekken, I would pretty much be doing the same exact thing over and over, where as a game like GTA gives me a more significant amount of things to do. I still think they could make several improvements to the game though. Bring back all the fun game modes from GTA IV that are missing, add more unique missions, heists (I'm rich, so I care that much as others do, but still...), casinos, improve the customization on the characters, add more car customization like decals/vinyls, and fix all the bugs/glitches.

Yes I am.

A number of features suck.

Needs more garages.

I suspect Rockstar of caring more for earnings than games development.

But

Rockstar consistently makes better games than any other studio (of comparable genre).

I am quite satisfied - else I'd stop bitching about garage space and just play something else.

Yeah, I agree with you on that. I beat someone in a race and he killed me five times. Luckily for him, I only had five pistol bullets and he kept hiding behind stuff. I didn't have enough money to purchase more ammo and weapons. The amount of douches in this game is countless.

Sounds like a question R* would ask :monocle:

We can only hope R* is asking this as this would mean they actually care and want to hear our ideas on the subject. If so, I'd love to see a lot of new things implemented that have been stated in previous posts on this topic. And numerous bugs fixed also!
