Everyone drops on GTA O, R* drops promises...

Ever since the game came out six months ago, we've been promised a lot of things that Rockstar did not manage to deliver up to this point. First of all, we got the heists, yes, THE GOD DAMN HEISTS that Rockstar promised to deliver shortly after the release of GTA O and here we are, almost six moths later and we're still getting the ''more on that coming soon'' bullsh*t. I can understand they need to take their time but this is just too much for those stupid heists.

Not to even mention all the load of supposed DLC like the casino, mansions to buy, a map expansion and all that stuff that everyone talked about. And we were actually hoping for a PC version to come after these six months when they couldn't even pull their heads out of their arses to release the heists, let alone that PC version.

Everywhere I go I see people loosing interest in GTA O either for the heists or the lack of content in general. I always had my reasons to hate GTA O but now I got even more. Instead of this half assed crap, they could've had some simple multiplayer mode where people could join your SP game and screw around together, that way they could focus more on the SP and make an even better experience since SP is already better than Online in my opinion.

Honestly, if the heists don't come accompanied by something NEW and BIG, they will fail miserably since everyone has extremely high expectations because of such a delay. They need to release something NOW to catch everyone's attention back unless they want their precious GTA O to lay dead on the ground forever.

The faster GTAO dies, the better.

I'll explain a few things

1. Rockstar has released a lot of updates to the game, It takes a lot of time to check what is wrong with the game

they have to play again and again to not miss any mistakes

2. they added the content creator, 6 new weapons, over 500 new clothing, eight new vehicles, over 50 new jobs

3. at the same time they working on the PC version, heists and DLC

Hope you understand better why it takes a long time

Aaaaand who told you these weren't there from the very begining but they took them out so they could release them later on just to shut people's mouths, to just draw their attention from the bigger stuff? The heists core is already there for the SP, they promised it a long time ago so I don't think there is any valid excuse

I swear these threads will never stop coming...

Why should they stop coming? What am I supposed to do? To kiss Rockstar's lazy ass and praise them forever? To close my eyes and dream about the sh*t they promised and never delivered? You tell me.

Problem is that Rockstar speaks less, and too often without giving much details about their future plans.

I've yet to see them maintain weekly progress about their announcements.

In both cases, we always have to WAIT for the right time.

This rigid attitude has remained unchanged even after GTA V, so it's quite right of you to feel disappointed.

They definitely need to be more open and introduce some changes to the policy of being too tight lipped and less caring.

I'm not sure when they'll let us have the pending updates to the announcements without knowing any actual progress about them.

The fanbase with such strong numbers and still they hardly speak, even for the satisfaction of the fans who made it possible to keep the series successful.

Let's see, if something happens by the end of this month.

I can not be sure that what you say is not true, but if my explanations make sense, I will not try to look for

what's wrong with them , of course it's always possible to say that everything is already there, but Rockstar

does not release these new stuff, and that's just speculation with less logic

ibtimes.co.uk -March 23, 2014

"Many of the required files for heists came in with the recent 1.11 title update according to several reports, which go on to add that these files will be activated upon the arrival of the 1.12 title update.

However, we won't be able to confirm this news until the arrival of the next update.

While I do think GTA Online is one of Rockstars biggest flops, I sadly cannot see it dying out anytime soon, especially with the whole "LIKE RATE AND SUBSCRIBE" crowd that keeps making pointless and trivial walkthroughs and the goldfish that subscribe to them.

Whilst I'm personally not the biggest fan of Online gameplay, I can recognize the allure some people see in it. And from a financial standpoint, it's a shallow goldmine, if it weren't for those pesky nefarious hackers. I don't see them dropping it anytime soon though, if they keep on doing what they're doing now they'll try to squeeze every last penny out of it. Can't really fault them for it.

Stfu f*ckers...stop complaining. This is like gangsnam style...somebody starts to judge rockstar game then all people follow that guy who judges first. Its like..first guy.."oh..gta online is s*itty"..then another guy..."gta online is fuuuuuu"....and then all people starts to judge this company.

What? You're comparing a sh*tty pop song to a multi billion dollar company that for some reason cannot get enough money. What happened to Psy? His fifteen minutes of fame is gone. GTAO will fade like any other gimmick or trend. They could prevent this if they increased payouts, lowered prices of cash cards, etc. but we know they won't. R* doesn't give a f*ck about integrity or their fans anymore. Deal with it. And don't use the free DLC as an example because they probably cut that sh*t out just so they could release it later to better their reputation. I think it's common knowledge now that it takes R* forever to make new content. They don't even acknowledge the heists anymore. Edited by THE_TREVALEV

While you can't co-op missions in Online, you can "screw around together" with other players in the same world as SP, so your problem should be solved (though it's a bit strange for you to be anxious for heists when you don't want to play Online-specific missions). Just play free-roam.

First, there's still tons of people playing GTA: Online. So...Yeah.

Second, yeah, heists are taking way too long. It's not because of diminishing player count, though, as it's not that bad. Only R* know the reason heists are taking so long.

3rd, all the things you heard aside from the extra cities were all fan-created. And even with the extra cities, they said nothing about how long it would take.

Look, everyone at R* is really really busy right now. They're playing dark souls 2 and Titanfall. Once they get some more free time to code I'm sure they'll add some more stuff.

There`s also Watch Dogs and other fun games coming out soon. So at this rate we might see a PC version somewhere in 2019 at best.

There will be no mansions, casino, and probably no map expansion. You are getting tricked by rumors. And, I don't even believe there will be these 3 new cars everyone is talking about.

No, the casino was prooved by a leaked audio file where it was clearly stated that the casino had opened up, tha was not fan created at all.

Can't wait online to die, and then R* makes another GTA which will have great story & simple online like IV. Singleplayer FTW!

I've been playing only Single player lately. Single player has even started to bore me a little considering I can only get 1 property mission every two real hours.

As much as it pains me to say it. Watch Dogs has a real opportunity here to compete with GTA V. The last video for watch dogs showed nice improvement on vehicle handling and sounds. I am not even that hyped for Watch Dogs.

I picked up Infamous Second Son yesterday and it looks like it'll keep me good until Watch Dogs comes out.

I hope rockstar comes around and gives us what they've promised and more. They've been a huge part of gaming in my life for Seventeen years! I know as well as all you guys know they are capable of better then what they've given us!

Casino and mall are most likely reserved (closed) for the single player adventures, and of course Online.

But, they won't be accessible till the SP update.

Someday it will, but it will last years. If the PC version gets released and if online servers allow plugins it will last much more.

First of all, the quality of GTA Online is horrific. It massively drops in terms of quality compared to Singleplayer.

Grand Theft Auto V singleplayer is being completely ignored, which it shouldn't as it's the heart of the game. Not "GTA Online"

They know we want PC, PS4 and XB1 versions but yet again they delete every comment on the newswire that's related.

Overall I completely agree that Rockstar needs something BIG, and soon.

Rockstar will push online in each Iteration of GTA, GTA 6, will have online come with it and so on, But online is a separate game
