This may be an obvious reason to many of you

As title suggest this may be obvious to many of you, but for those who don't know and are still confused why there has been no word of a PC version, it is actually really simple. You need to ask yourself one question, would GTA V have made One Billion Dollars if it had came out for the PC at launch? Obviously not, because many people would of pirated it.

Me - and I am sure many of you too - would have made this same business move had you be making one of the most popular and most successful brands of all time.

So I guess what I am trying to say is, of course there will be a PC version (unsure about next gen though), Take Two are just milking as much as they can before sales of GTA V decline, and then they will announce the PC version, this creating pre-orders, making retailers happy and eventually making even more money (hopefully).

So that's pretty much the reason in a nutshell, as to why we haven't seen the PC version yet.

Thanks

So what if people pirate games for PC? people pirate for the consoles too. There are illegal torrents for gta V on xbox and ps3. Look them up

It's a little harder to pirate for consoles than the PC. A long time ago, back in the regular Xbox days, I pirated the first Halo for PC and it was extremely easy. I bet I can still do that with PC games now a days, like with GTAIV if I wanted. Nonetheless it is still a little more difficult to find, download, and play pirated games on consoles. (Note that I didn't say impossible, just more difficult)

One thing I know. If GTA online was on PC, It would be flooding with money made with Cheatengine. And R* wouldn't allow that, as nobody wouldn't be buying cash cards.

(I'm not a R* hater though, I know that CC are optional)

They will release on PC eventually, but when R* has earned enough money with GTAOnline $$ cards... Because they know that Simple Native Trainer will reappear on GTA V and better than before, earning 1 million dollars just pressing a keyboard button. So they are waiting to release all the DLCs with a spearing time before releasing it on PC with the complete edition (something like they did with LA NOIRE)

Okay, but this has been covered countless times in the GTAV PC Discussion topic, which was locked a few days ago for a good reason. There will be a new thread and an entire PC section once the game is announced for the platform.
