Cool idea for headphone users

Anyone hate little kids on the mics screaming? Well R* should edit the voice chat so that you can only hear players when you are really close to them, and the volume would fade away the farther you go from them. It would give the game a bigger sense of realism, and make calling people on the phone useful.

I just need an insta-mute button to mute everyone in public lobbies or when joining activities instead of going through a hustle muting every single person, that ain't a bad idea too OP

I wouldn't waste my bullets on kids that will keep coming back to chase me .

 

That's why I stick with my crew members in session, so I can ambush them if any get too close.

Or you could buy a Sony headset mic with the option of turning the mic sounds off or down really low.

It'd be good if you set your Chat on Crew+Friends/Friends/Crew you can hear them even if you're on the other side of the map. You can only hear randoms when they're close to you

Unless I'm remembering it wrong, I believe you could only hear people within a certain distance from you. That game did a lot of things right actually... Like gang attacks.

i'd be all for an option to send a blackwater kill squad after everyone who publicly uses a kinect mic. if you knew me you'd know i'm as zen as an online gamer can get, but those digital equivalents to tin can phones make me wanna see blood...
