I for one believe we should be able to use some form of music streaming such as Pandora, Spotify, FM. radio, etc for the in game sound track. I don't know how they'd implement it, but it would require and active online connection and an accouunt with these various apps. I think it would be very benefitial because it allows for personal music preferences and is a never ending choice of music.

I've got a PC game that does this rather than spend time and money setting up its own stations, it's a really good system when its working.

These days I have my Hi-Fi under my TV so I usually use Tunein on my phone to listen to Real Radio XS then plug it into my Hi-Fi.

Look at Gta Vice City for Android and IOS. They allowed us to make a playlist called vicecity in your music libraries and then go to the radio station "Tapedeck". Same with San Andreas but I can't remember the name.

V could do something like that
