Lock radio station

I really get annoyed when I get in my car and have to change the radio station because the car spawns with some crap one. Do you think that we should be able to lock which radio station we want in our cars?

These days I have game radio turned off and listen to rock radio over the internet though, grown bored with the selections.

It's not having to change the station when I get in my car that bothers me - it's the f*cking passengers who think they have control over the radio who do.

Ah well you are in luck. go to settings / audio and slide that music slider all the way to the left, problem solved.

Yes, it's annoying. What sucks even more is that it's always a station that I don't listen to much. Glad Johnny on the Spot is 'dead' because he would always put it on that horrible Channel X trash. Currently my PVs on my 2 accounts default to either Radio Los Santos, Non Stop Pop, or East Los FM.

What's more annoying is selecting a radio station in the lobby while waiting for a race to start, then a completely different station playing once the race starts.

There also needs to be a lock for other players touching the radio when they're in the passenger's seat. Touch the radio and I'll change my vehicle access to no-one or kick you out. I don't care if I'm roaring down the GOH going as fast as possible or we're getting shot at, you touched the radio and must pay for your crimes.

To me, whatever radio station is on when I first get in my car, is such a non-issue. Takes a second, at most, to rectify.

 

Some forced etiquette for passengers might be required, however. I don't mind if someone turns ON my radio if it was off, to a channel of their choosing, but if you switch it off one of mine, then do so again after I switch it back, you will be booted from my car.

I did that once and it flew over my passenger's head. All he did was squeak over the mic that he hates LSRR and wants to listen to Radio Los Santos. He got a swift kick out of my vehicle for his troubles.

I say that we should have the ability to lock any station of our choice so that it automatically plays when entering vehicles and such but still be able to change the station freely, just in case.

It is very stupid. Set it in garage, drive out=different station.

Drive into LSC, drive out=different station.

Turn off radio, get out of car and get back in=Radios back on.

yes - with the option to set different stations for different cars. also, in race/mission lobbies, the default radio setting should be 'off'.

 

i'm amused that people feel so strongly about passengers messing with their radio. to continue with this theme, however, what about being able to fit an ejector seat on the passenger side for just such crimes against etiquette?
