So, Why Did They Actually Remove Prattfalling Online?

I recently went back to playing SP for a while and totally forgot how fun prattfalling into stuff is and it got me thinking, why would they remove it from the online portion of the game? I'd like it to be re-added online at some point because i think it would make a great addition. What do you guys think?

Yes i know but the way i meant it was why would they take it out of the game for the online side of it? Makes no sense haha

Haha "Buy a £40 cash card, get the prattfalling physics free!" Oh how i wish you could do diving headbutts into people online. It would make for the best claiming of a bounty haha.

I remember trying it for the first time in online and being so disappointed. Its so fun jumping off something and actually flipping but your character face plants.

 

Most likely reason is its too much fun.

Agreed, something I really miss from single player. So funny when you managed to jump and perfectly take someone down with a swan dive

I never really got the idea of this. I rather see they add crouching and the ability too jump off a building and grab hold of the edge of the next building and climb. Both these things was in IV. Wish they add more climbing features. Instead it was all about pratfalling and stumbling down hills.

i think its cause the game engine cant "handle" it online

like

seeing as how players already teleport around in ones view, when said players do that commando punch that makes them slide across the ground, i doubt we would even be able to see other players falling without the game glitching out stupidly

Probably the climbing disadvantages.

I hated it personally, it was amusing at first but it soon started to annoy me. I'm glad it's removed from Online.

this, player physics seem to be downtuned online in general

just played some SP and I noticed how often I would trip over small ledges or while walking up a steep hill

doesn't happen nearly as much online

I'm glad they removed it. Anything that's fun or distracts from making the lobby a giant deathmatch is bad.

I loved doing front flips into pools, you could do them way better in SP than MP.

Just do what I do. Stand on top of a skate ramp (don't know if it works on all), walk off slowly and enjoy your trip. Or throw yourself off a slightly-too-high-to-land-and-roll-building and enjoy your flight. Or chuck yourself off Mount Chilliad. What I do miss though are the drunk physics from GTA 4. 5 is just boring as you never fall over (drunk stair races on youtube lol).
