So, since it is now a "free gold" weekend on Xbox, I decided to give Online another shot, but this time in a Free-Aim lobby. Bumped into a problem as soon as I started. Besides freeroam the lobbys are empty. I wanted to do some LTS or a TDM, and whenever I join a match I`m the host in an empty lobby and when I invite people NOBODY joins in. And this goes for every game type. WTF? I really want to do some deathmatching since I didn`t do it before (because of legit-aimbots a.k.a. Traditional GTA-aim), but I can`t. I got few matches which ended up being a stomp from a clan. Are there more people in assisted-aim lobbys? Because I do not want to play in the traditional aim lobbys anymore.

 

Also any tips on how to get better with aiming with those crappy analog sticks? Like is it better to use high look and low aim, or...? AS much as I hate aiming with a controller, I`ve mentioned my hate a lot a while back, but I realized that aiming with my thumbs in my bum is more fun that with legit-aimbots. Of course I would prefer to play with a keyboard and mouse, but that is only possible on PC and I don`t think God himself knows when the damn thing will come to PC.

 

Also I noticed that people in free-aim lobbys seem to be better racers. I did few matches, thank God people joined, and there wasn`t much ramming or using others as brakes. But maybe I just got lucky with the players.

 

So yeah....

...Auto Aim killed off the public death match aspect of the game. One of the main reasons i hate auto aim with a freakin passion.

 

 

You need to find a crew that plays DM if you want to play actual death matches sadly.

 

Free aim is mainly Free Roam and Co-op jobs.

Auto aim is a handicap for people who get capped and can't learn to shoot back go play gta 3 u can auto aim all you want "noob sickle"

There are no free aim elitist. Hell, i've never seen any.

 

Also GTA in general is filled with c*nts. AA has more players, hence it has more c*nts

Play survival with a SNS pistol for an hour. That will get you started... :D

My crew MALICIOUS INTENT is a large (150+ member) crew that does 90% free aim. They are extremely active in deathmatches (and our users also create many DMs) and I would highly recomend you join us.

 

Malicious Intentt / MAIN on XBOX

Actually every time I have played with them it has been free aim. Hope to see you there! There might be 2 t's at the end of Intent ;)

Every free aim lobby I join is usually full..... The least I've seen is give or six people and never have been put into a lobby solo. As for tdm and dm is a ghost town in free aim, people who can't aim either just quit and go back to auto aim or they just race or play survivals. alot of free aim players are sht any way... Expect lots of rpgs mini guns sniper rifles and auto shotguns cuz they have no aim period....

Well I`m from Europe, so if it`s an American clan then the ping would be an issue. Also I`ll play only for 1 or2 days, that is until the free weekend ends.

tried free aim but the cops were pissing me off, cause they STILL have auto aim. cops should have a little sh*ttier aim imo in free aim.
i play in auto aim sessions cause im too lazy to aim at every single pig. its a third person game, not an fps, dont take it seriously. however, sniper wars in auto aim sessions can be pretty intense, especially if the guy you battle calls in his crew. i love popping out of cover and sniping, its like time crisis :)

your account has been baned for a period of time, when your perma band it'll say you have been banned from gta online please return to gtav, when you get the message your getting its a temp ban Edited by Sushi__Wolf

Free aim beats the sht out of auto aim lobbies where everyone you pass just locks on and sprays that's not skill dude. People in free aim arnt elitists we just don't need a game to aim for us...... Free aim is so much more fun you have no idea, I cannot bring myself to go back to auto aim even for dm..... if you can't aim just get a mini gun or a sniper rifle like all the other no aim free aimers..

There were about 4-5 people in free aim roam in the beginning but after 3 weeks there was only an echo left.

15 to 16/16 players is an echo?

Yeah, it's pretty hard to find other players who are doing missions with free aim on. I usually end up switching back to free aim just so i can find other players at all.
