hearing players reactions when you kill them

sry if this is already well known but I have my chat set to crew only and I noticed in the last few weeks or so that right after I kill someone, they will sometimes say something which I can hear. Even though my chat is restricted. Was this a hidden change included in the last patch because I don't remember it before? For example, I killed someone three times in a span of 10 mins and after he died, he called me a bitch and then he would go silent about three seconds later. When he got griefed by a different person, I did not hear him say anything.

As far as I know, I could always hear the reaction from the players I kill.

 

Obviously, if the player you kill doesn't have a mic, you won't hear a thing...

It's always been there.

 

If someone kills you, you can hear them for about 10-15 seconds

 

If you kill soomeone, you can hear them for about 10-15 seconds

It's WAY better in Black Ops 2, one of the few reasons why I actually play it. When you kill someone on the enemy team you hear them for a few seconds if they have a mic. And since lots of people on COD have mics, it's hilarious.

if by party you mean mission, only the mission people will hear you wtf-ing. if you wtf-ed when you got stickied for the 3rd time in a row in free-roam, then some free-roamer is chuckling at you.

i have it set to everyone...

 

people with mic are my main targets, love to hear them cry, moan and bitch everytime i kill them...

 

its all fun and laughs til my console freeze!

When they're real immature, I will hear, "Slut" or "c*nt" since I'm a woman and since they're still in grade school.

 

I had one guy do that, and I switched to Everyone and I let loose a string of insults and expletives so harsh...he muted his mic and said nary a word as my crew spawn killed him over and over and over again.

Nah like me and my Xbox friend are in a private party and the chat is set to that in the XBL menu. In FR.

 

Stickied three times in a row is fine, it's the ones who smash their buzzard into you because they're more dangerous with the joystick than the fire button
