Gummy
In GTA V, during the mission The Ballad of Rocco Michael kills Rocco Pelosi and in TBOGT Tony said that Rocco is a made man of the Ancelloti Family and stopped Luis from killing him because they'll get hunted, So why isn't the Ancelloti's after Michael after Michael kills him ? Or am I missing something here?
lol232
Probably because they stopped giving sh*t about Rocco or some sh*t went down with them.
Jeansowaty
Might be because the Ancelotti's got disbanded.
LordVukodlak
I don't know about disbanded but the Ancelotts have no influence on the west coast (aside from Rocco) so it could be weeks or months before they even know he's dead and they wouldn't know who killed him. Luis is known and local it wouldn't be has difficult to figure out. Also his fleeing Liberty City could have been abandoning the Ancelotts in which case if they did find out they might just send Micheal a card "thank you for taking out the trash" MartyFrost
Zee
Because V's story is rushed garbage. And Roccos death is clearly a last minute afterthought, which is really annoying seeing much they built him up in IV. Cebra
I'm pretty sure that, considering the events of IV and its episodes, that the Ancelottis were disbanded by the end of the trilogy. Either way, Rocco wasn't a made man. I know that's what Tony says at the end of Party's Over, but there's other times in the game where its shown that Rocco desperately seeks Old Man Ancelotti's approval, and I just doubt he would do that if he was made. For example, in Frosting On The Cake, he tells Gracie to tell her dad about him, and that he's "on the up". The fact that he's really a small time criminal is also touched upon throughout. Also, he's only like 25 years old in TBoGT. I don't think that it's possible for a guy that young to be made. Jimbatron and MonarchBoo
Jimbatron
Might be because the Ancelotti's got disbanded. This is most likely. Niko with the McRearys and Peggorino have borderline crippled them by the end of IV and EFLC. Niko has whacked Charlie Matteo (Old Man Ancelloti's right hand man), Tony Black and Frankie Garrone, not to mention countless rank and file gunned down in various missions. Their alliances with the Albanians is in tatters, as is the Russians with the death of Dimitri and Bulgarin. It seems likely Rocco skipped town at the end of EFLC because the Ancelottis had fallen apart - dial him after the end of TBOGT and his voicemail suggests as much. Because V's story is rushed garbage. And Roccos death is clearly a last minute afterthought, which is really annoying seeing much they built him up in IV. Thing is it made perfect sense to me. Rocco was immature and had no real gravitas of his own - Luis would have probably disposed of him in the first cut scene if it wasn't for him being under the Old Man's protection. Take him to another city, without the support of the mob, and it's unsurprising someone like Michael would make short work of him without even giving it much thought. Rocco is like Christopher in Sopranos - made young guy, who really wants to make it up in the food chain, but messes up most of the time
