I think it is a mini sandking. It will do most every off road race I built the same as the sandking. Won't go up big rock walls, but it will go where the sandking won't fit.

If you find the clean Rebel the least bit attractive you weren't meant to own "rusty" in the first place. Rusty is an off road tank in missions and free roam. if you want better performance, get a Bifta.

The clean Rebel is the off road version of a "Ricer" . Putting huge tires on a small 4 banger "pick em up" truck looks ridiculous.

well, i guess theres no point in owning a sandking that has no mods and cant climb over rocks

i'll stick with my pink bulletproof sugar plum fairy truck for now lol

oh but it was so cute next to the sandking :I

I don't really think anything performs off-road like the Sandking. The Rebel isn't bad but it has a hard time with inclines unlike the Sandking. It certainly feels like it has alot better handling than the rusty Rebel. All you need is the save editor and you can get a sexy clean Rebel with all the fixens unlike the boring ones you find in free roam.

Personally i have a soft spot for the clean Rebel as it reminds me of one of my fav childhood movies, Twister. Reminds me of that kick-ass truck Jo owns.

Philip Seymour Hoffman was so great in that movie... :(

I played around with the Clean rebel for a couple of weeks after it became keep-able and Compared to it a SandKing upgraded as equal as could be

I would call it a Mini Sandking

Speed fully upgraded was equal to a Fully Upgraded Sandking

Traction seemed equal

Acceleration might have been a little better, but was to close for me to call

Cornering the Clean Rebel was more prone to coming up on two wheels,

Off-Roading the Clean Rebel went just about everywhere the SandKing would go, and would fit in tighter areas

The Clean Rebel was less forgiving when hit humps and Bumps at higher speed

Upgrading and Customizations

Clean Rebel = Nothing but Performance Upgrades, No visual

No ability to add Crew logo, the option is listed but an errors stops it from being applied,

Insurance cost is the same as the Rusty version, so is the replacement cost if destoried

Engine and Turbo sounds just like the Sandking

I want to own a rusty rebel for that dakar modification, but I've got no room in my garage and it would look out of place even if I did.

More garages pl0x

Drive_ByShooting

Recently got one and i'm enjoying it. It's pretty quick fully tuned, but nothing like a Bifta.

no the clean rebel is not a ricer. it's an 80s toyota in new form, like McFly had in Back to the Future. With the brush guard AND the roof lights mod, the clean rebel looks much better than any rusty rebel imo.

i feel like the clean rebel's performance is influenced ever so slightly by the amount of random equipment it spawns with. with nothing on it, like this:

0_0.jpg

it feels lighter and thus faster to accelerate and easier to handle than when you get one like this

0_0.jpg

which has all the random parts.while both these options (no random parts and all random parts) do not naturally spawn, i even mean to feel the difference between one with just a brush guard, and one with brush guard and roll bar.

no matter what version though, it is absolutely hilarious for hitting natural jumps. *humms* ... fly like an eagle...

plus its ramming capabilities are incredible, making it a mini-tank in its own right.

Stop being retarded.

Calling everything a "ricer", I bet you don't even know what "ricer" means.

I really don't think there is any difference in the power of the clean/rusty Rebels from what I can tell. The clean has the same sound as the Sandking but that's about it. The Sandking stomps the Rebels in terms of rock crawling but the Rebel does better on long smooth slopes.

The clean rebel is the dubsta2 of the rebel world, it is faster and handles a lot better than the rusty one from stock, also has a different exhaust note, and has a better awd distribution.
