Human Element is an Open World FPS Survival Game by the Indie Studio "Robotoki", the Studio of Robert Bowling. (Former IW Community Manager)

Human Element taked place 35 years after an Zombie Apocalypse. The players are attempting to rebuild civilization.

The game is made with CryEngine and will be released on PC and Next Gen. Planned for end of 2015.

It has benn announced back in 2012, but apparently they now will start to focus on it.

"CryEngine is the perfect fit for us because it delivers so many powerful features straight out of the box such as the physical-based shading system and the infinite terrain from segmented worlds to create a massive open-world experience but still allow the visual fidelity and detail our players expect from a first-person experience from our team."

Haven't heard about this in a while. Didn't they announce it back in 2012?

This game turned out to be the exact opposite of what I was expecting and hoping.

Based on the concepts and information, it seamed like this would be a gritty and strategic game similar to The Last of Us but the trailer looks like a horribly generic Sunset Overdrive.

How did this:

The developer behind Human Element, Robotoki has closed down and development of Human Element has been halted.

Well that sucks, hopefully if a new studio picks it up they'll revert it to what it was supposed to be.
