open top stinger

I've been saving up for the stinger and almost have enough; however, I really want the open top. Anyone know a way to guarantee this? Thank you.

yup, i honestly dont know why it ISNT after seeing the sandkings bedcap mod, and the jesters louvres, both of them give the vehicle a new hitbox so i dont see why the stinger cant have the roof as an option instead of a randomly chosen thing

FYI... I just checked the stats and despite what you might think from their descriptions, there appears to be no difference in performance for stinger vs stinger gt...

Guys, they are both separate cars on Legendary Motorsport, not random chance. Just look at the picture if the one you buy, that will be the one you get. They are two different, buyable, separate cars

The normal stinger comes in both a roofless variant and one with a soft top.

It isn't stated, but there is a difference in handling; the front engined, rear drive Stinger, and the mid engined, rear drive Stinger GT.

Sorry mate! I didn't know that! I thought it was just convertible, as I only ever owned the GT.

I bought a Stinger GT for my 2nd character thinking it would perform well in races...well I am pissed and it's taking up my Banshee slot (which i sold to make room)

This is one of the few legit complaints I see on this forum. For people who dont cheat buying an expensive car, you should be able to buy the car the way you want it. If they are gonna have different variations, then you should be able to pick them when you purchase it. Or put the options at lsc.

All you can do is sell it back to LSC if you get the soft top and try again. I really hate that they did this, and wish the convertible worked for this car. I have the open top. It's a classic Grotti and goes well with my Turismo, Cheetah, and Carbonizarre.

yo u wanna to use stinger soft top ? it's proably glitched so u can't retract them so it's pointless to buy regular stinger for convertible muscle car ( as it glitched , the occupant is exposed to gunfire )

The peyote and manana are the same. They come in hardtop versions and no top versions, but you can just find the desired one you want out on the streets without having to buy it.

The worst car for this is the Vapid Sadler - It comes in 4x versions (non of which you can change at LS Customs) - 3x have bits that fall off if you drive over a pot hole. The lucky thing is its cheap and easy to find without paying for it but getting the version you want is a bit harder.

 

The BF Injection also comes in 2x versions when buying it.

Bobcat has 2x versions (one with rear cover, one without) when buying.

 

As for the Stinger and Stinger GT - They need to be upgraded so they have the same speed and handling as the other cars in there class so they can be raced.
