Avoid 'Death From Above'

That mission from Martin is such a poor payout considering how hard it can be. You know the one where the guy is holed up in a mansion surrounded by police and bodyguards. Took me roughly 8 attempts to complete.

It says fly in or parachute, use your imagination and so on.

I used up so much ammo. Then finally did it, got to Martins and all he paid was $3150. That's pitiful for what he needed doing!

It all depends on Team work. I just take me and two of my teammates and continue the job as usual. Then have the fourth guy come pick us up in a Maverick/Frogger to avoid the cops that soon surround the Mansion.

not that hard if you do it right and quick enough.. if you're too slow.. you'll more than likely end surrounded by police and fail.

Its a half decent mission. But why would i bother with this mission when i can just assassinate martin's girl for $7500. Or just do rooftop rumble. Way faster. For me its all about being quick.

That mission used to be pretty challenging, but now all you need to do is call up a Buzzard if you own one and just hover a bit away and let the autolock missiles do their job. In the recent update you don't need to take a picture of the target anymore, which makes the missions much, much easier.

I just sniped the guy from a rooftop and drove to Martin's house (avoiding the police) and job done.

A lot of you seem to be missing the point. Yes the OP did say it was a hard mission, so you have every right to comment on that.... but his main focus is the low payout.

 

I have to agree with the OP on this one. That is a terrible payout.....

 

Anyway, if you can't call Death From Above hard (which a lot of you are saying it isn't hard), than what missions CAN you say are hard?

 

Death From Above gets about as hard as it gets in GTA V online (when you try it by yourself, which is what the OP was doing)

One guy stands at Martin's house.

Everyone else does the raid, kills the target, and takes the photo.

The guy at Martin's house walks into the yellow circle.

A green check goes next to the mission in your list and you never have to do it again.

It's just too tedious for the table scraps you get thrown for doing it, took me and a friend 5 attempts the first time we completed it. Saw what it paid even the first time, before it gets cut in half and both of us said wtf??? We don't have buzzards, so on the off chance there's no better choice on the voting screen, we just roll in with tanks, makes quick work of guards and police.

Yah was on my own. I tried sniper spots like at the tennis courts and all that but had to go into the mansion grounds to even get close to him. All this one shot one kill mission complete I'd love to see that done without helicopters or tanks. I lot on here claim to do that, maybe they can or maybe it's just 'forum muscle flexing talk'. But would like to see it done solo using only guns

Method in the Madness set on hard can be pretty tricky.

The payouts piss me off for a lot of missions. How about Landing Strip? That's another challenging mission with an anemic payout. People in general skip over a lot of fun and challenging missions because the pay is crap.

IMO if I have to battle a helicopter full of enemies, or travel with a package for more than 2 or 3 miles while aimbot granger thugs try to murder me, my fee is 10k minimum.
