GTA 4 vs GTA 5

now i have never played gta 4 online. is it the same concept as gta 5 open world all that good stuff? what is better gta 4 or 5 ?

5, don't get me wrong IV was fun at the time but there is SOO much more you can do in V. I did enjoy how IV was just an open online world. No objectives, no worrying about insurance, but it did provide a lack of things to do besides the massive amount of people at the airport. Idk about console version, but with the simple trainer mods, it allowed us to have even more fun spawning things and doing whatever you want. Miss it, but I love V's multiplayer even more.

 

 

Also LCPD:FR was amazing on multiplayer kbye.

To this day, GTA IV: Ballad of Gay Tony Free Mode lobbies are still pretty populated.

Don't mean to be a re-threader, but I wrote a "Share Your Stories" about GTA4 which may give you, the OP, some personal and creative insight.

I should add that GTA IV was a brilliant game. It did not have an "online" component like V, but it had a "multiplayer" option for racing, etc. Very very similar and you could easily see how it matured into the Online component it is now.

Not even close to being the same concept. GTA IV is MUCH MUCH better.

Every time I played IV all it was was a race where people parked buses in the way and non stop killed you or a death match at the airport or a race around the airport runway. Online in IV totally sucked compared to V.

I enjoyed the story mode in IV though. It was simple and fun.

The only thing bringing me back to V is the lazer jet. IV was great for free mode war zones ( cops off feature ) and dogfighting with attack choppers. It never really got old even after the modders ruined it for legit players. I'd have to say IV for me because I played it for 5 years non stop.

 

bomb da base II was also pretty fun! Money power respect for dat money i'll pop whoever in the neck!

IV was good for spawn killing, trolling, and just being a maniac,expecially TBoGT with the rapid fire buzzard and the APC

 

If your into MMORPG's, GTAO is your game, its not really a mp like IV MP, but its like an MMORPG, you basically live this crime life you always wanted, except for always dying and respawning

Neither and both are better. IV had crappy features that were discarded but it had excellent features that they also neglected to keep. V has some great new features but also some features that don't make any sense. The only honest statement can be "X in GTA IV is better/worse than X in GTA V." If someone says (I know I've done it) "GTA IV is better/worse than GTA V," they're ignoring most of both games.
