all I want is playing this game in peace.

ten-a-penny

now I know I did posted in another thread, but I think it may deserve its own thread.

all I want is playing GTA IV and GTA V in peace, without formatting the goddamn PS3 just to play one of them. I'm afraid that the more I do this, the more data/hard disk will be damaged in the PS3. or the more I format, the more the disk space it'll decrease. and don't tell me to get it on Xbox. that sh*t's too expensive here in Libya (and I still didn't see a Xbox version of it) and don't tell me to get it on PC. my small trashy Laptop can't even run DOOM I perfectly (which is released in 1997 goddamn it) while I got another trashy laptop which freezes at the smallest thing. plus I'm not good at playing PC games.....

:( I want playing IV again. GTA V SP is totally boring (I know about making my own fun, but I want IV back)

damn you PS3 damn you. f*ck you whoever sold it to me with your damn garbage.....

thread sucks know. its because this is a rant thread......

well i guess you can save money for a 120 gb laptop hard drive doesn't matter the brand wd seagate etc just laptop hdd to be

and the hard disk space and damage doesn't decrease with every format, when you format an HDD you remove EVERYTHING that was on it that's it , it doesn't damage it it doesn't lose space

I may buy a standalone PC for big games (like GTA) and for school.

for real? then its time to format my PS3 and return to GTA IV.....:miranda:

Yes for real go ahead and format it lol but you know you are gonna lose your save files right?

and you can replace the ps3 hdd that's why i said to save up for a 120 gb hdd

Why are you formatting the HDD every time? Can't you just delete the game files and install the other game? What HDD do you have? 20 Gb?

because whenever I delete V and want to install IV, it says that I don't have enough space to install the game.

even after deleting V, it tells me I need 2000+ MG more to let me install IV.

I just formatted my PS3. it says that I got exactly, 9098 MG / 12 GB free. ain't it supposed to be 12,000 MG since 1000 MG = 1 GB? am I missing something here? :/

in this case, just to let you know. 8124 MG (GTA V) + 3344 MG (GTA IV) = 10,368MG.

So it's clear now. You got PS3 Super Slim with 12 Gb of flash memory. No wonder you have to delete one of the games to play the other one. And technically you can't have whole 12 Gb for yourself (1 Gb = 1024 Mb), because the rest is took by the OS.

I was never fan of the SS as they are butt ugly, with tacky drive and high probabilty of failure (even higher than "fats"), but since you already have one you may want to look for cheap laptop HDD (2,5) with spinning speed of 5400 rpm. It will be definitely more convienient than deleting game every time.

yeah I got this type:

Super_Slim_PS3_35454664_35454666_3545466

but its really messing up. I mean....I have to FORMAT the whole damn machine instead of just deleting one game and installing the other :/

OFF-TOPIC: this is the first time I play the game without crashing the car at the nearest object like in the past. PERFECT! :D
