All returning vehicles in DLC's to be brand new?

So it seems like when we asked for the jester to reappear, i guess 1 R* employee saw this and said: "heys guys, they want the jester back, so why dont we give them a 2015 NSX parody that looks nothing like a supra?"

Dont get me wrong. I love the new "jester". But the reason we wanted it so that it would be a 90's supra or maybe a hypothetical 2015 supra at least. They could of called the GTA V jester any other name as it is not the vehicle we asked for.

This could be said about the alpha and elegy as well. However the elegy is fine i guess since it is just the GTR instead of the skyline.

If you think about it, nearly all previous cars or new cars in GTA V are brand new models. You dont even see any true 80's or 90's cars. The only non 2000's cars are the muscles and sports classics and few offroads.

Realistically speaking, there should be some 90's or 80's driving around in the city as well. It doesnt even have to be imports only.

Just the originals would be fine. They could just add a random letter to the car names to indicate different models.

I guess they are just going to add brand new models with each new DLC i suppose. No new brands, just non-related remakes.

What do you guys think?

Sir Michael

With a +20 year difference between GTA V and San Andreas/Vice City, of course cars are going to look brand new.

It'd be nice to see 80's and 90's sports and supers, but unless there's a 80's/90's DLC pack, I don't see R* adding anything old school for a while.

I would love that.

Keep in mind that we did get a classic GTA model back in the Beach Bum Pack.

The Bifta which is pretty much the BF Injection from GTA Vice City/San Andreas. So that's some hope I guess... I kinda like the new Jester but I immensely admire the old Supra. Also ,I liked the old Alpha too, it was a Dodge Stealth.

We need 80's, 90's cars.

Yeah i know that but the fact is all cars we see on the streets in SP and O are pretty much 2000 or newer models. 80's and 90's cars should still exist.

Yea technically. The bifta did look like the original BF sort of but i think the Bifta should of been called the BF and the GTA V BF should of been called the bifta. What im trying to get at is that the car models should = the name. I think the bifta and BF should be switched with each other.

they COULD still make a supra and simply give it a different name and a slightly different appearance, as with other cars we want back

or, they could give it the buffalo treatment, having two different versions of it

car companies do that all the time in real life, making the same car with slight differences, or making a car that looks identical to something a different company made

of course, R* won't do that

Explain the Picador (EL Camino) from SA which looks almost exactly the same here.

Uranus - Fox body mustang

Blista Compact - CRX

Faction - Buick Grand National

Rancher - 2 door Blazer
