coolbabylos
Try not to double post in the future and keep the bumps to once a week. Yeah my bad I made the topic title way to long so my title was cut off short, Now that i know it can only be so long it wont be a habit. I do have a question on what might be considered bumping? Is it okay for me to reply to post made on this thread, or is that considered a bump. Curious as this is the first thread or topic i'v ever made. Thanks for your time. Very happy to be back with my brothers Glad you could make the meeting tonight and congrats on getting your patch. Stay Grim brother.
GunWrath
No worries about the secondary topic, you did right by reporting it to be removed. As far as replying to posts is absolutely fine, as long as it's another members post you're replying to, that's what topics are intended for Just make sure you don't double post.. for example, you can reply with 'Okay GW, thanks man'.. then an hour or so later come back and make a new post such as, 'K guys we got a meet tomorrow at blah blah'.. We don't like that We're usually pretty lenient here and will let things slide and normally just give a small verbal reminder. As far as bumping goes, go for it as long as it's once a week. Good luck with your crew. coolbabylos

WTFThisIsntWii
Just wanted to point out that referring to a Commanding Officer as a CO is a military term adopted by lots of MC's. The term Executive Officer is also adopted from the military, I just wanted to point out its known as an XO not EO as you have written numerous times in your post. Commanding Officer = CO Executive Officer = XO EO means Explosive Ordnance and generally refers to bombs and such. But cool crew man. coolbabylos

Appreciate the heads up, I will consider editing those portions to which i owe you credit, Thanks. I did some research and found that the X.O. is second in command to the C.O. is this correct? If so may not necessarily work for our higher ranking officers we currently refer to as Executive officers. Although Instead we may have to refer to the higher ups as elected officials instead, coincidentally E.O's. And still use X.O to refer to the second in command which till now we were just calling second in command Again thanks for the feedback and giving me a fresh prospective on these points. Cheers. Been studying the GBMC Constitution Daily, great job on this Cool thanks brother, Its been a long time coming and i must say that a lot of my brothers in the GBMC had a hand in forming our constitution and making it possible. I thank them as well. Edited March 23, 2014 by coolbabylos

Yes a CO is in charge whilst a XO is second in charge and takes over when the CO isn't present or fit for duties. You could refer to the other officers as Staff Officers. A commanding officer is generally in charge of long term goals and big decisions. The XO normally assists the CO with the day to day running. Staff Officers are those who are a high rank but are all responsible for different areas and not directly in charge of the unit.
